I remember checking out a book with this premise a couple times. I was a preteen and the book was a little taboo I think but not on the surface or my mom wouldn’t have let me check it out even once. I recall it being with the large fiction section of the library - prob adult, maybe young adult. It had a very retro feel and look although I feel like it was easy to read.. maybe from early 2000s?
