I personally did not like The Night Circus. It is YA, but the kind of YA I don't like.

If I remember Artemis was not well receive by much of our group during it's initial read through. It's definitely not as strong as the Martian.

All of this is to say-- vote for Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency instead.

Have I already told about when I was in high school and (after reading and loving Hitchhiker's Guide) I started Dirk Gently and nearly choked to death laughing as I read one of the very first scenes? I vividly remember reading that scene (involving a sofa/couch) aloud in English class (why? no idea) and it's hard for me to believe it could be that funny? I know I finished the book and I think I even read the sequel, but that's all I remember about them. I have been thinking about rereading them, but I think this is probably one of those books where my memories are certainly fonder than reality :)

However, I'll give it a vote, because why not!
