Should there be a limit, even if it's very high like 20 or 25?
What does it do to the results when voters can spread votes broadly, are there pros / cons?
What if there were bad players who voted for every book then hit Submit?

Everyone voting is not going to vote for everything, so a top six will always emerge 😊 The point is to find the ones most people would read, so it’s absolutely fine to vote for every single one if you’d be happy to read any of them 😄

Looking at the votes, many only vote for a couple of books. I suspect they’re the ones who’ve been around long enough to have read most of the ones they want to read.

I always like when people advocate for the books they want because you know you'll likely have people to read with. Also, sometimes I just skip over something and I'll go back and vote for it when it is brought to my attention.

I'm so happy to see Octavia Butler at the top. It's one of these authors that I keep wanting to read, but shiny new books keep distracting me. I hope for Parable of the Sower to be in the top 6 by the end of the voting, because I own a physical copy, but I'll participate in any buddy read of this author.

Jade City's last book is coming out this year (CMIIW) and there will be an adaptation too so I'd like to give the series another try ^_^

both The Calculating Stars and The Ocean at the End of the Lane are part of the bookshelf books, so you could knock off two of them and there are discussion threads for both.
