My kid remembers a book I used to have that had a yellowy beige cover, buildings and a girl with insect wings on her back. Her back is to the reader so you see the full expanse of her wings. I think she is standing on a building ledge.

I do not remember much about the plot other than it is set in maybe Toronto.

It was a dystopian world and some people had wings. I think the MC was an orphan with wings.

If I saw the cover again I would know it instantly but I am having no luck searching for it.

I believe the book was released between 2009 and 2013
