Regarding Books 3 through 6 of Dublin Murder Squad (scheduled for Jan to April), how dies that work exactly?
When would you list Book 5 with the other scheduled March Buddy Reads? On January 25th or February 25th?

Yes that's the plan. For all series reads in January where it's marked "Y" as the whole series confirmed, we'll just be checking in around the 20th to see if the thread is active and automatically adding the March-planned book at that time.

We're trying this out to minimize lots of series reads that lose their readers over time.

Announcement from the mods

Trisha and I have discussed how we are handling series reads and have decided we will add confirmed series for as far out as we are adding standalones. Currently, that is May, 2021.

With this change, confirmed series books that have been added to the spreadsheet are:

The rest of the Dublin Murder Squad series
The Secret Place in March
The Trespasser in April

The next few Discworld series
Maskerade in March
Feet of Clay in April
Hogfather in May

The end of the Harry Potter series (the group that began it this year, NOT the group that starts in January)
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in March
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in April

The third book of the Stormlight Archive
Oathbringer in May-June

Please note that any series that is not marked as "Y" as confirmed on the spreadsheet has not been extended past its current book suggestion. The mods will still be checking in to make sure threads are active and if unconfirmed series want to move on to the next book
