I'm still so so confused

but Jasper talks that way...and she seems to "go off" and away when the world gets warbly....soooooo she's really traveling??

Okay, I'm lost so I'm going to try to detail out each Part I because I"m struggling to pull this all together.
this book is confusing so far :(
and for being OVER 500 pages, I'm not sure I can be this confused for much longer, lol

Thur Part I

Lily and Emma (view spoiler)[ Emma got in trouble for writing the paper that sounded exactly like the one the teacher or some guy were writing.
They hit Eric on the sled and now they are sliding down an embankment (hide spoiler)]

Lizzie(view spoiler)[ is the little girl in the story who sees her dad do bad things with the mirror
BUT Maybe Lizzie is Emma's story - maybe not (hide spoiler)]

Rima(view spoiler)[ is a "possessed" kid? anyway, she can sense the remnant of souls attached to clothes and things.
she also followed the road to meet up with Eric, Emma and Lily. She's hitch hiking with Tony (hide spoiler)]

Thru Part II

Lizzie and Mom (view spoiler)[ Wow, so the story? Emma's dream?
anyway, mom blew up the barn and tried to close the open...gate? anyway, dad let all the bad things in (hide spoiler)]

Casey(view spoiler)[ wow, so he's haunted by having the shirt of his dead father on him. how crazy! that's why he's getting so mean (hide spoiler)]

they must have been in the path of the fog in Lizzie's world? or maybe they jumped worlds? Eric and Emma sure seem to be in a different "time".... (hide spoiler)]

Okay so MUCH less confused now that all story lines have converged. WOW, this is a horror story!

I'm losing interest...this is just so long and it's still confusing :(

they brought up inception
and that story with 8 people who weren't real and I it got me wondering if everyone is NOT real except Emma. but then I wasn't sure if it was Emma and Eric
now I've just stopped and I'm just trying to enjoy the horror story crazy part of it all.... (hide spoiler)]

Part IV

well...I thought I understood for a minute there

Lizzie(view spoiler)[ is moving parts of their souls
but she's kind of taking over a person in one now and moves their....ugh, whatever....to another world? to a "book world" which is just an alternate reality (if you'd made a different decision)

no answers or answers that were confusing were just a pure test of patience
BUT To end it with.....I mean, I think she's Emma
and I think the others were alive because it was only in THIS now that her father killed the 8 others right?
and she just looks like Lizzie....??

Based on your review of the book, I'll put this one aside and maybe read it later, maybe not.
