I've enjoyed her books, but had the pants surprised off me when listening to her do an interview and she has an Enlgish accent! We have always claimed her as Australian ;)

That would have surprised me too! I also thought she was Australian.

I thought it was really good and definitely worth a read if you've enjoyed her previous work. It's not really a thriller, but a slow mystery. I really enjoy the way she builds her stories.

Great I have it on my list to listen to soon.

She has lives here for a long time and said that her background as a journalist gave her the insight into Australian culture and language. She considers herself Australian - it’s just her accent that gives her away 😂😂

Overall my number went up by 1 this month, but all the ones I added are 2021 titles. And I did get some of my older ones cleared, so that's good at least even if I fell behind on my current titles again.

I made it halfway through my book that publishes November 3rd, so I hope to have that one done on time. All my adds are for 2021 and I only have 2 left that were already published, so even though my ratio went backwards by 1 I'm still feeling pretty good about my shelf.
