Based on the victim’s mutilation, did you suspect it might have to do with pedophilia?

At the beginning, I thought it might have had to do with a rape situation or spousal abuse. The pedophilia idea didn't really come into play for me until the first few suspects started to develop.

I knew it was sex crime related immediately. The pedophilia aspect emerged as soon as the child’s room was discovered.

I didn't think pedophilia at first. I was sure it was a revenge killing by a victim or family of a victim.
