She sold her soul to house pride but that's not the same as agreeing to marry him (I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure she can choose any of the princes of Hell) (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ Oh look the big revelation I figured out less than half way through book one. I'm annoyed at these books because there is so much wasted potential, this world seems really cool (emphasis on seems since with the shitty world building and lack of explanations I can't be sure). This could have been so good and instead it's this. I'm going to finish the series and hopefully we get answers but with how little has been revealed this book it's not looking good. (hide spoiler)]

I can just tell by the things he is doing and saying whenever she brings something up. But really this book is very boring. Ch.19-21 (view spoiler)[ ok we are finally getting somewhere? maybe? Nonna is annoying because she has all this info and was trying to protect her family but also not really doing a very good job if she didn't actually tell them the issues? like what did she do to Greed that got her throat slashed in her own kitchen?? also, i feel like Emilia could be utilizing Wrath way better. i mean he's trapped in a circle of bones for days and can't hurt you. feels like the best person to make a deal with, as opposed to wandering into another brother's casino? and now she's been bitten by a venomous thing without even looking up the antivenom. seems foolish. Ch.22-41 (view spoiler)[ more princes was a nice add on for these chapters although not sure where we are headed. Her making out with Wrath was inevitable but what an odd time to do it and then she f-ed it up. I put that on her not him. Then after 300 pages Nonna decided it’s time to tell Emilia “everything.” Which ends up being nothing helpful. “Love is the most powerful magic.” Right but what?! (view spoiler)[ I’m really glad I finished this in the sense that I didn’t give up because it wasn’t a fly through book. It felt like a 300 page intro which was not great. I personally would have removed so many things that made no impact on me slash the story, but maybe it comes to light in the rest of the series?
