Prologue – Chapter 8 : (view spoiler)[This is so unlike the other fantasy books I’ve read! The Sicilian setting is unique and Emilia and Vittoria had my attention from the start. I was not expecting Vittoria to die so soon but the secrets being unraveled are shocking. I don’t think a human or a hunter killed her, it is possibly the demon Nonna warned them about (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 9 – 19 : (view spoiler)[I was not expecting these many Princes of hell to show up tbh. Vittoria’s behavior prior to her death has left me confused. I can’t come up with a reason as to why she agreed to marry the demon. I can sense a romance between Emilia and Wrath and Envy’s words are strengthening that suspicion. But who is this ghost demon who has Emilia’s amulet now? (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 20 – 28 : (view spoiler)[Wrath and Emilia’s interactions are just too good. I can’t bring myself to trust Antonio and the way he tattled on Emilia to Nonna seemed a bit over the top. I won’t be surprised if he turns out to be the person in the hood lol (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 29 – 38 : (view spoiler)[The hell??? That was a matrimony bond – WEIRD! But l liked how Emilia didn’t just accept it readily. She keeps landing herself in trouble though and now with Claudia speaking in such riddles, I wonder what’s in store for her (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[Welp, that was unexpected. I assumed she would enter the contract with Wrath, don’t know where Pride jumped from. I was right about Antonio not being as good as he seems, I can’t wait to see what Emilia would do now that she’s the queen of the kingdom of the wicked! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 1 – 5 : (view spoiler)[I am not sure whether I am liking this realm tbh, Emilia is annoying me a bit with all her revenge plans but no actions. Also, it seems like everyone but her realises that Wrath is not as bad as he seems to her and aligning herself with Pride is a huge mistake. The sin corridor part was entertaining since I really liked the whole concept of it (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 6 – 12 : (view spoiler)[OH YES!!!! I loved this segment. Wrath and Emilia are meant to be together and the chemistry between them is super hot, I got scared for a second when there was blood at the dinner table – turns out Wrath showed his wrath and it literally gave me goosebumps. His big reveal about Emilia being his intended made me so happy! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 13 – 19 : (view spoiler)[ It gets a bit slow at points for me mostly because there’s just so much drama with the demon princes. I feel like this could have been more straightforward. But all the parties and who’s gonna host, Emilia’s stubborn nature is taking all the fun out of the book. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 20 – 28 : (view spoiler)[I like Emilia and Wrath’s parts together, especially their training sessions. Wrath sure does have his own way of making Emilia learn her lessons but I wish he was a bit more forthcoming. I am not sure what’s supposed to happen at this feast but Gluttony doesn’t strike me as evil as some of his other brothers (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[What the actual hell? Vittoria is alive AND is in league with Antonio. He even called her angel so what I am assuming is the theory with one twin for heaven , one for hell stayed true and Vittoria now sees herself as an angel while Emilia is the first with – Bad! And Vittoria probably wants to destroy the whole Kingdom of the wicked, wild. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I didn't notice how confident Emilia is before. She didn't believe in Princes of Hell and her knowledge is limited regard dark magic (she knows next to nothing). And yet she can take them and outsmart them all. To be honest I think she is more like "fake it till you make it" kind of girl. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I read a little bit yesterday and I'm not sure about change of scenery yet. The Sin corridor is an interesting idea and I liked her illusion with Wrath but some information I'm getting is not that interesting. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Emilia, you have to stop. Only reason she is still betrothed is because of her! She started this betrothal and she went after Viperidae unprepared and he saved her life. And I'm not sure why she is so suprised! They still have their tattoos! It was nice confirmation btw. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[We're finally meet other Princes! I'm really excited for that!

I don't like these training sessions with Wrath, especially the first one. It was just out of the blue and I wasn't prepared for it.

And Emilia really should do something about her magic. She needs to tell Wrath. I have a feeling that The Feast of the Wolf is going to be a disaster. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I think I'm going to give this one 3 stars. There are parts of the story I liked and some I didn't. One thing didn't change I still really like Wrath. He was out of line once but otherwise he is really good character. On the other hand, I decided I do not like Emilia. She makes stupid decisions, she is always full of assumptions (and they mostly don't make sense) and she is way overconfident.

I enjoyed second part of the book way more than the first one. I'm glad we got to meet more Princes (only one missing was Sloth) and Feast of the Wolf was interesting but I'm disappointed we didn't get to see Emilia's fear.

Vittoria being alive doesn't surprise me but it's only because I read a spoiler for it and I'm salty about it. I'm so glad Emilia is pissed. If my sister faked her death I would end her myself. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I'm so bored and I can't get into this book! Why is it that I alway love Prologues in this series and with the second and the third book I just want them to continue.
So Emilia is a Goddess of Fury and Vittoria is Goddess of Death. I think I liked it more when Emilia was just naive and overly confident witch. She is going to get on my nerves even more now! (hide spoiler)]

But why is Emilia always snached from Wrath's bedroom? They really should have some precautions in place after the first time. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 1-12 (view spoiler)[I’m not really into this one so far. I’m having a hard time connecting with the main character. I don’t really like her. I’m actually surprised that she isn’t accepting the blood trade. But anyways does anyone else think it’s gross that they would have to mix their blood? Chapters 13-24 (view spoiler)[I am struggling so much with this book. I feel like Wrath is more like a vampire than a demon with all this blood testing and whatnot. Hopefully the story picks up, but I just don’t care at all what happened to her sister. (hide spoiler)]
