- both were ok, 3* reads for me. Thanks for the push to get them off my tbr- Kidnapped for Christmas had been lingering for 7 years!
MountainKat, I just finished The Tourist Attraction
and it was just fabulous! My only regret is that I can't read it again for the first time - lol! The two main characters were just great, and were unique people, not at all what you would expect in the MCs of a romance novel. I loved the setting, too, because I love Alaska and want to go back someday (since one trip there was not enough!). Plus, my favorite character was a moose named Ulysses who was in love with a truck! Thank you so much for this pick! It was great!
Whew, I've been a busy little reader this month! Surprised I've read as many as I have, though tbf, most were audiobooks since Audible Escape is going away on Nov 1 and I had several books lingering on my TBR from there!

Hi KathyD, read some of the books but got caught in some BRs & other challenges.๐คทโโ๏ธ One standout was Mr. Mysterious by J A Huss 5โ
. About an investigator/fixer living on Malibu Beach & being wooed/stalked by a young woman. Hotness, intrigue, edgy, unusual character. Part of Mister Series. Each book is standalone except the last. The Hs are close friends, wealthy & are trouble. Mr. Perfect-5โ , Mr. Romantic-5โ , Mr. Corporate-3โ , Mr. Match-3โ

Hi MountainKat, I finished another book from the list and it was excellent! A Gentlewoman's Guide to Murder
I loved the setting, Regency, London, and characters, especially the main character Emmeline, who was part of a secret group of ladies whose sworn mission was to rescue young girls from the sexual and physical abuse of their employers. Miss Emmeline is a sworn spinster, having seen the horror of marriage, but there is a romantic interest for her throughout the story. It will be interesting to see where this series goes.

Fran,I'd completed Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe a week back. I liked the slow burn and even enjoyed a few beautiful romance. But I couldn't enjoy the word play in it. That is just me. So, it is a 3 star for me.
I wanted to one more four dead queens but I got caught up.

Hey Becca I am planning on starting Murderously most sweet by Kathleen Suzette over the weekend. I know you picked out book 5 but I realised I hadn't read book 2,3,4 so wanted to read them first.
I am also reading Her Warrior Slave by Michelle willingham as well. I hope to get both of these finished soon as possible.

Hey Fran! I was only able to read Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe from your picks last month but I enjoyed the book! I honestly couldn't tell you what I liked about it if you asked, but the story just flowed and I went with it. So thanks!I might try and read a couple more from your picks
