Erik Angus (thetruthcrusade) | 2 comments Hi everyone! My name is Erik, and I am extremely new to the concept of writing books. My desire to become an author first developed as an off-shoot of an evangelism/apologetics project I conceptualized, called "The Truth Crusade". The idea was somewhat unorthodox, and it involves the promotion of what is perhaps called "Amalgamative Apologetics". (Apologetics as in arguments in defense of the Christian Faith and of the Holy Bible, and also formal arguments against counter-Gospel movements and faiths, etc.) The general idea of this concept is that there is a bunch of information and evidence verifying the truthfulness of the Christian Bible that the average Christian layperson in the West desperately needs access to, but some of the best arguments are scattered across numerous books, websites, denominations of the faith, and even numerous topics and subject matter etc. (Ie, Christian apologetics addressing Atheist and Muslim arguments could be seen as two categories, normally.) My goal was to draw all the very best arguments I've heard in my Christian walk into "one place" or one general "series" and facilitate both education of the general Christian populace purposed in defending their faith, and simultaneously strengthen arguments with an interest to evangelism. At first that meant a series of videos. But as the process of video production was extremely time consuming, that is what caused me to think about investing in writing books to the effect, in the hopes to gain extra funds for full-time studies and also working on the video projects.

This process has proven to be exceedingly more difficult than I initially anticipated, but I am very enthusiastic and determined to move forward in this.

The big challenge for me, is that this puts me in the non-fiction category. I have to constantly watch myself and strive to ensure I am citing any quotation or work that is not mine, and there is always a certain level of intimidation that out of some early morning dopiness I will forget a citation and get myself in trouble. Another challenge is that a lot of the documents I am drawing from are freely available; I am merely adding commentary, connections, personal conclusions, explanations and replies to various debates.

One of my books, the third of the series "Debates of the Reliability of the Christian Bible" is available for free until October 7th, except on Amazon where the minimum is 0.99 cents.

If anyone is willing to check it out and give me an honest book review, it will be of great help to me. And if you find the book helpful, to help in publicizing it (if it be found worthy in your eyes) is of course appreciated.

I'm also new to GoodReads, so please accept my apologies if anything in my post format is awkward. I am still learning how to use this site.

At any rate, the Universal Book Link for my book can be found here:
