Sonia and Louise, when you guys are done we can send the skips to whatever team we choose, and then I guess we check in?
Done. Only thing left to do is invite the lions and check in. I'm on my phone. But I can do it in the morning if nobody else beats me to it?
Crepes of Wrath is also waiting... maybe Abby and Kathy are both busy?It happens sometimes.
I guess we could check on a team that is ahead of us, and start working on those tasks?
I sent a friend request to the mod account, Kathy replied with a friend request. I'll drop her a line.

1. All teams are waving at the departing boats as they stand on a deserted island. There is a pile of supplies which EACH team member must chose ONE for the survival of their team. Each member must chose one item to read that is different from what any other member in their team chose:
Item 1. Read a book about food.
Item 2. Read a book with a map.
Item 3. Read a book where someone fishes.
Item 4. Read a book where someone uses tools.
2. Each member is allowed to bring a personal item from home. Read a book about an item that YOU would take with you to a deserted island.
3. Teams must now find a location and build a shelter. This involves a Scavenger Hunt.
Read books which include the following words. They may be on the cover or mentioned in the book:
Beach
Cave
Mountain
River or Stream
Forest
House
Campfire
Storage container
Bench or Chair
Bed
4. Now that the Team's neccessities are met, it is time to get to know your team members better. Have a teammate chose a book for you to read from your TBR list. This must be completed by each team member.
5. Of course, being on a deserted island, weather is always a problem. Read a book with a weather element in the title.
6. Time to explore your island. Read books about EACH of the following finds:
A book with a fruit or vegetable in the title or on the cover.
A book with an animal in the title or on the cover.
A book set mostly or entirely outdoors.
A book with a gem, mineral, or rock in the title.
A book where someone finds treasure.
7. You come across a competing team's campsite. The camp is empty. Time for hijinks! The raided team must redo #2 or #5 above.
8. Due to boredom, things get a little crazy. Read a book involving a crime or a heist.
9. Campfire. Ever laugh, when someone pulls out a worn acoustic guitar and starts to sing. Well, guess what, you find yourself singing along. Each team member must chose a song and read a book which reminds you of the song. Song choices are:
Our House – Crosby, Still, Nash & Young
Ain't No Sunshine – Bill Withers
Blowin' in the Wind – Bob Dylan
Center Field – John Fogerty
Hotel California – Eagles
Leaving on a Jet Plane – Peter, Paul & Mary
Rocketman – Elton John
Sitting on the Dock of the Bay – Otis Redding
Harvest Moon – Neil Young
Everybody Wants to Rule the World - Tears for Fears
10. No campfire is complete without scary stories. Read books about the following urban legends.
Choices are:
*Ghost train or ship or car or any mode of transportation.
Read a book that has a mode of transportation on the cover or better yet read a haunted mode of transportation. Either works.
*Demon dogs.
Read a book with a dog on the cover. You can also read a book with a legend/myth about a demon dog or an omen of death.
*White or Grey Lady.
Read a book with a white or grey dress on the cover. Or where the main character is looking for a missing person.
*Crying Baby on a Bridge.
Read a book with a bridge on the cover. Or read a book where the main character is handling children.
*Vanishing Hitchhiker.
Read a book where the main character can see or interact with ghosts. Or read a book about traveling on a deserted road or that involves hitchhiking. You can also read a book where someone just vanishes without explanation.
*Alligators in the Sewers.
Read a book where someone has an unusual pet. Or that has an alligator in the story or on the cover or title.
*Big Foot.
Read a book with a fury creature that supposedly doesn’t exist (a sasquatch, a werewolf or another type of shapeshifter). Or read a book set in Alaska or Canada.
*The Clown.
Read a book with a clown or circus on cover or in the title. Or read a book about a clown or is set in a circus, carnival or amusement park.
*Bloody Mary.
A popular dare game. Read a book where the main character is challenged to a dare or does something really stupid. Or read a book with the main character or author is named Mary. Or read a book that has a Mirror on the cover or title. Since Bloody Mary is also a cocktail name. Another choice would be to read a book where the main character works in a bar or night club.
This Challenge is Complete.

I'm trying to read my Jack the Ripper book for over a month now. I might need to change the format, since I was always getting lost in the task at hand and missing important stuff from the audio - that rarely happens, but maybe it's the type of the book.I also decided not to start a new one till this one is finished, so, I need to find me some free time during the weekend to dedicate to it. So I can be more active on this challenge.
:D
Thanks Jenny.I'm with so much stuff on my plate that... I manage to accomplish nothing....
Oh well... baby steps.
So, I have been reading like a maniac... just not jack the reaper or caraval.Darn mood reads...
Okay... looking into the spreadsheet to see what I can use.
