We’ve been so busy sight-seeing, checking outs local restaurants, and visiting with locals that we didn’t even have time to record the journey. But the fatigue caught up with us and we’re taking an early evening to do some relaxing travel journaling.

Saturday
After finishing up a chunk of the Ring Road, we decided that we needed a bit of change of scenery, moving from the outdoors to the bustling city. We caught a flight from Keflavik International Airport to the amazing city of Tokyo, Japan.

Tokyo was bustling, vibrant, and full of activity. It made it incredibly difficult to pick our next destination. But we ran into a super friendly couple while watching a show at Kabuki-za, who really sold us on the beauty of Alberta. So we caught the next flight to Canada!
