To be honest, I really wanted to read Dark Matter, but my local bookstore did not have it in stock, and I wanted something THAT DAY because....I am impatient and love buying books. lol. So, I settled for Crouch's Recursion. And, it was excellent! And makes me even more excited to eventually get to Dark Matter, which most people seem to vote as the better of the two.

Hmmmm, how to discuss this book without spoiling it. You know what? I am not even going to try. I am simply going to say that if this book is ever made into a movie, it will 100% be produced and directed by Christopher Nolan. In the vein of Inception, you never quite know what is real and what is fake in this book, you simply follow the seemingly iron-clad science through layers of consciousness and realities, on a psychological thrill ride full of twists and turns.

Meli (melihooker) | 4165 comments Christopher Nolan, yes, very apt :)

I am glad you enjoyed this, which seems to be what I tell everyone who rates this 4 and up. I loved it as well! One of the more propulsive reads of 2020 for me.
