Emilienne (petitnez) | 313 comments Task: 19: moon on cover - Completion post

Book: Ghost of Himself (Haunted Souls #1) by Pandora Pine
Author: Pandora Pine
Pages: 261 pg GR
Qualifies: moon on cover
Read date: 11.04.20
Rating: 3 stars

Review: it took me a bit of time to understand what was going on because I didn't pay attention to the tags. AGAIN. So.
It's magic, supernatural, fantasy, everything I... do not like, really. But If I'm being honest, the book is good, it is well written and it was my first by this author even if I have a few on my TBR shelf. My preference goes to Cope, because well it's hard to read what happened to him, and he's just lost to the world. Not sure I'll read the next one for now.

Book: Too Good to Be True (Blue Moon #1) by A.E. Via

Rating: 1 star

Review: Wende, this one is for you. KILL. ME. NOW. This book is a pure plague to me. I was so tempted to stop @ 20% because it is torture to read. Discussions are not interesting. The story is not interesting. Main caracters are a lot of things but interesting (insta love, insta lust, clichés to death, etc.). I think I tried to open my veins with an electronic page at least 25 times, if not even more (I'm still here, as you can see, because my Kindle does nothing except making me read awful books it seems). You can guess, I didn't like it...

Trip (shardsofromance) | 2210 comments I can be a fast reader during half terms and holidays, but yeah generally im slower in the week.

Extra rules with new term for covid/lockdown, getting used too. Also got assigned a specific class to support full time for first time since started in january, which is great as step forward just take bit get used too and new things to learn. So been a busier week then expected and knackered...

I was so skeptical about joining this, remember that you guys had to talk me into doing it. So happy I did, it's been a blast. Except for when I read Harry Potter and had a little meltdown lol.

I'm so happy we all met one way or another during SH.

Hi Diamond. I'm not sure its a good thing to come in and say you support Trump. You are totally free to support whoever you want, and I respect your choice and your convictions.

But we are a team very supportive of the LGBTQ (and more) community which is not the case of Trump. So it might be a bit sensitive as a subject.

I would be thankful if we could finish this challenge in peace with my teammates.

Takes a lot of nerve to come on another team that is made up of people who support LGBTQ+ rights. So please take your backwards looking opinions to your own team as we really don't want or need to hear them. Good bye.

MountainKat | 31597 comments Here is your LAST TASK:

Read a book written by an authors whose initials are both in the first half of the alphabet (A-M) or both in the second half of the alphabet (N-Z). No pass for this task.

Books selected for this task have to be written by authors whose initials are wholly contained in either first half or the second half of the alphabet. You do not have to decide on first half or second half as a team. Each book just needs to fall into one or the other to work. If the author uses a middle name or initial, it must also fall into the same half of the alphabet as initials of the first and last names. Examples of qualifying authors would be Lorelei James, Amy Lane and Nora Roberts. Authors that would not qualify would include J.D. Robb, Sawyer Bennett and Sloane Kennedy. Also Jennifer L. Armentrout would work, but Susan Elizabeth Phillips would not. Each teammate must complete a book that qualifies for the team to complete the task. Additional books will add to the team's page count total in case a tiebreaker is needed. Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count.
