Hi Emeli, could you also add your rating of the book to the completion post please . A rating or review is required, I think. Also the number of pages of your chosen book is needed.
The format for our completion post is given by Mountainkat in Message 3.
Task 1 -Book from Fav month of 2019- March Completion post
Madelyn - A Fire Story
Teresa - Prince of Death
Emeli - Family Camp
Laks - In Safe Hands.
Yay! First task submitted. Thank you Laks for submitting that. I think you may be the one to do that as you're up earlier than me :D

Please correct to the first edition Kindle page count - that is what we use in this challenge. I chose to use a single edition because so many of the tasks require page count and it was the best way I could think of to level the playing field. I will still assign your next task, but ask that your post be corrected. 😊
Well, I would assigned the next task, but Emeli's book does not qualify. The minimum page count for this challenge is 150 and her book is only 129 pages. Since there is no pass for this task, she will have to complete another book before I can assign the next task. ☹️

Okay, I have changed it to Kindle version. Thanks for the correction.

yay!! I posted our completion though we may not get a new one until tomorrow (for me)
Yay!! Here is Task 2:10. Read 4 books by authors' who write under more than one name (Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb).
Please include in your completion post a link to the author page or website that shows the author writes under more than one name.
Here are few authors who publish under more than one name. I will search out for more soon.LA Witt - Ann Gallagher
Riley Hart-Nyrae Dawn
Brandon Witt - Rosalind Abel
MA Innes- Shaw Montgomery
I periodically find that books I own are just too short for this challenge. I just found one that's 149 pages. Somewhere there's one that's 146 pages. But 149 is really frustrating.

An intense read .
A poignant story about a young man's trials in his life. I applaud the author in bringing out this story and that too in a first person point of view which adds to the intensity of feelings. The trauma inflicted during childhood has long lasting effects. And if it's from one's own mother, who is the single most person expected to provide unconditional love, no child can escape unscathed.
I loved all the characters, especially Jed, Donnie and Maudra. They are so good and perfect, I am happy they are there for Brooke.Coming to the 'evil' characters - Rose and Iris for example; author has taken pains to look into their tragic past to show us how and why they turned to be the 'bad' persons they are. That is very important, I believe. Who you are now is a result of your past experiences, both good and bad. And Brooke is a real special person despite his past.

Despite some doubts at the beginning, I really liked this take. Vampires and wolves are known in this world but because vampires are limited to sunless hours the wolves have managed to influence governments against them. Vampires are second class citizens so when Levi’s bonded gets turned into one, his werewolf customs say to shun him. Chasing ensues, connections are made, people die. The end occurs in a very tentative place so I’m glad I have the next on tap.
Working for the Census, catching up on YouTube videos, keeping an eye on the wildfire that almost threatened my neighbourhood last week. I completely spaced and forgot about my book club meeting last night; I set an alarm for the next one.
You’re very busy! I just finished a non challenge book and have to decide if I want to start a new one before my other groups call their categories. My mental health hasn’t been the best so reading has been my distraction.
I can’t imagine being near the fires. We get smoke from afar and that’s bad enough. I’m glad you’re safe!

Here is Task 3:13. Read a minimum of 750 pages in books tagged/shelved as sports.
The tags can be generic such as 'sports' or specific like 'hockey', 'baseball' etc., but the qualification needs to come from a tag. Please include a link to the top shelf page with the number of that page and number of tags - they move so that info helps me confirm. Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count.
MountainKat wrote: "Laks, are you acting as the team leader?"No Mountainkat. Teresa is our leader, but I think Emeli's timings match with mine, so I just post the completions as soon as I see them. 🙂
Thank you for our new task.
So we have a few options - 750 isn’t a lot, three of us could read one book each @250+pgs or each of us need 188 pgs minimum. We should post our choices and make sure we have enough pages.
Sports is not my fav category so I only just started on a shelf for them. I have one book lol. I have to get to my computer to look at some lists.

Thanks! I didn't have it marked and was wondering. 😊
Teresa wrote: "So we have a few options - 750 isn’t a lot, three of us could read one book each @250+pgs or each of us need 188 pgs minimum. We should post our choices and make sure we have enough pages."Remember everyone needs to participate, unless someone uses their pass. 😊
I tried to message you, but you aren't accepting messages - could you PM me, thanks! (It's nothing bad or major - promise!)
So I'm going with a re-read:Changes Going On
it has 354 pgs so as long as everyone else reads a book of at least the minimum length we'll have enough pages. :D
