Oh my god it's amazing! I'm very slowly working through them when they fit in with other challenges, but not because I don't love them. I've seen reviews compare them to Scooby Doo and it's totally apt (and Scooby was my favorite show growing up)

Review: My favorite of the series so far. This series is a whole lot of fun, and this installment was no different. I absolutely love how completely settled into their relationship Demmy and Cody are, even when outside parties are trying to bring them down. And the monster this time around? An absolute classic, and always fun to read about.

Review: I’ve had this one on my TBR for a while, but kept putting it off because for some reason I expected something completely different than what I got. This book was unexpectedly ADORABLE. Nathaniel has got to be one of the cutest characters I’ve read in a while. Sure he’s super grumpy and curmudgeonly, but he’s also so sweet with animals and kids and just completely clueless to everything and I loved him. And Chasan was so perfect for him (obviously) with his light-hearted and loving nature. There was some heart wrenching moments too, balancing out the overall fluffy sweet moments, and just making this an all around great book

Review: LOL, did I pick this one up because of the cover... well yes, yes I did.

I enjoyed the first audiobook in the series, performed by Iggy Toma and Marc Bachmann. Plus I'm always going to go for the age-gap reverse stereotype D/s relationship, and Annabeth Albert writing S&M.

Nice pretty low-angst hurt/comfort tale, a few pop-ins from the first novel, but definitely a standalone.

The Mating of Michael (Sex in Seattle, #3) by Eli Easton The Mating of Michael by Eli Easton
Pages: 242
How it qualifies: 4 word title - The Mating Of Michael
Read: 11th October
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Review:
A sweet and emotional story!
Michael, a nurse and part-time sex surrogate, uses his chance to meet his absolute favorite author during a signing hour at a convention. Sci-fi writer James sure sees the beautiful young man in the line of fans before his desk but when Michael tries to ask him out he outright refuses. James, depending on a wheelchair since a Polio infection in his early childhood, has zero confidence and is so sure that nobody could love him that he totally isolated himself. Luckily Michael is very persistent while also giving James enough time and space.
Michael is a beautiful soul and it was so wonderful to not only read about but actually feel their love growing and to watch James's walls slowly crumbling down.
My only criticism of this story is that the conflict ((view spoiler)) was entirely predictable and a plot ploy that I generally don't like.

And now I really would like to read "Sentimental Cyanide II" and get to know how Lamb survived.

I really enjoyed it! The series gives me Charm of Magpies vibes (mainly the romance part), so if you like that series you'll enjoy it. Some of the reviews for Starcrossed stated that there wasn't enough backstory given from the first book (I didn't notice since I read them back to back), but you might want to wait until all 3 books of the series are out before starting if you don't want to do a reread.

Review: I adored this. Magic and mayhem set in one of my favorite time periods, I can’t find a single thing to complain about. Even it being fade to black didn’t bother me, and that’s saying something! But I was so immersed in the story, I was eager for it to continue, and look forward to more.

Review: This book was even better than the first in the series. I was laughing from the start, and it honestly never let up. Benji and Calarian were so much fun, and all the unfortunate mishaps they got into made for a delightfully joyful fantasy romp. I liked Lars well enough, but do wish we had gotten the chance to see things from his POV, as I never truly felt like we got to know him. Overall a very fun sequel with an amazing cast and a guarantee to put a smile on everyone’s faces.

Review: An absolutely wonderful second book! I’m always weary of second books because I think authors often have a sophomore slump, but this book was just as fascinating as the first. The magical world is built upon even more, and the relationship development is perfect, making me fall even more in love with Ace and Rory. This book gives me serious Magpie Lord vibes (which is one of my favorite series), so if you like that series, I can’t recommend this one enough.

Perfect start to the season of Christmas themed reads. :)
I greatly enjoyed reading/listening to how this grumpy Santa and the spirited Elf found together!
The audio was well done, except the voice for Teddy sometimes drifted off into a range I didn't like for him.

Just as delightful as everyone says! KJ Charles is always clever, but Philip is one of her best. Great chemistry between him and Guy and their exchanges are so funny and often poignant.

Friends have suggested that Cornell Collins' performance in the audio version is a bit too formal and staid. I can see that and I'll bet reading it would be twice as good. Hopefully I'll be able to make the time soon.
