I also found a bunch of shorter books for this challenge. But I also think my competitive nature has been showing and pushing me to read more than usual, which is why I'm now at 9 books finished.
Finished On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous. Can't tell if that entitles us to a guess. If it does, I would be inclined to guess a C or F, but there may be something more logical.
I'm also starting to wonder if it is some name that we won't recognize as a name like Alaska in Looking for Alaska
We currently have one more guess H sounds good to me. I've got to do some cleaning and will get some audio book time in.
Emily updated our spreadsheet the First word has 6 letters and the 2nd 7 letters (I could not find anything with 6 and 6 letters)
I just finished The Lemon Sisters which gives us another guess. Should I just go ahead with the standard first guess of an N?
N sounds good to me. I’m hoping to finish two books tonight so we should have at least one more guess tomorrow though hopefully my audio and page count will get us closer to more.
WTG team. I spend some time outside and then reading, only to find that we've solved another puzzle. Will try to finish a book tomorrow.
I finished The Way of Kings! I went ahead and picked it when I thought this was going to be a slow paced challenge : ) I'll finish my audio book early tomorrow morning but I'm logging off for the evening.
I finished a my book, Tess of the Road and logged it on the spreadsheet. It gave us another guess but I'm too exhausted to be on here anymore so I'm off. :)
Since I woke up at 4:30 because obviously I need to figure out the puzzle. I think it is A Prayer for Owen Meany. Once I realized the three letter word must be ‘for’ I was able to find that title and now I hope my brain will shut off and let me sleep.

Whoa! Over 1000 pages. I did like this book overall but especially the story of Kaladin, such an example of what a leader can be (and how hard it is on a good one.) I read the 2nd book thinking it would be a trilogy but now it looks like it is 7 books and I can't see devoting so much time to them and trying to remember the plot between each one. Really Sanderson's books don't need to be SO detailed.

You are amazing, Jillian!
You are amazing, Jillian!
We have two more guesses available, do the people who finished books want to guess letters? I have 80 pages left in mine but I think the title is correct and this is our last puzzle.Great job team!
Robin, he is my favorite author and I think he will actually finish his series but they are really long. I think, he is planning to write 10 books in the series. I general struggle with do I read or listen to the books.
I went ahead and posted P and M. I have 12 minutes left on my audio book and will then update the spreadsheet. Once we get the last guess if someone else can posted the letter and the guess would be great. I need to do all the things I ignored yesterday so I could read so much. This challenge was so much fun!
I got an hour audio in while cleaning so we need less than an hour of an audio book or 1 book finished and then we can guess our last letter and solve the puzzle.
Because I couldn't put it down and I neglected other things I needed to do, I finished The Great Offshore Grounds and added another 226 pages to our total. It appears we have solved our final puzzle. Great job Cuthberts! Hope to share a team with you again in some future read-a-thon.
CONGRATS CUTHBERT FAMILY!
