But I have totally lost track of how many guesses we have - having trouble reading the chart (I have a head cold and feeling fuzzy so that's my excuse).
And how many guesses do we have to make before we can solve the puzzle?? Sorry I am so confused today.

You have one guess available. You had two carried over from before the lightning round, and you've earned two guesses since the lightning round started. The blue highlighted box where it says Total Guesses represents the total guesses you've used AFTER using the two you carried over. It just makes it easier for me to compare what you've used this round versus what you've earned this round.
So right now, you've earned two guesses from completing books, and you've used one of those guesses on V. (The L & B guesses were carried over from previous rounds.)

Hid my guess since it seems unreasonable to possibly solve already.
Nice work finishing up the last one!

I will try to get in enough audio hours to reach a guess but it will be later.

The testing centre is in a hockey arena at the end of our block so at least it isn’t too far to go :)
And on the plus side, I got a good chunk of reading done!

I finished Time and Again. Maybe the best time travel book I have ever read. Going to post my stats now.

Have a great time camping!!

Hope you all turn out to have negative tests. Doesn't sound like a fabulous day to be sick and waiting in line.

My next book will be shorter.

Meanwhile, have a great day!

Also need to figure out how many pages I read yesterday.

I just finished my audiobook If Beale Street Could Talk and we have more guesses, At least one more to solve the puzzle. We should wait for the last guess to go through?

I don't think there is a doubt that you have it right, Jen. I would just go ahead and guess the final letter and solve the puzzle.
This has gone fast! I hope to be of more use tomorrow. If we get a new puzzle, I might try to log my pages and peek in at it later.

Still under the weather, which gives me a good excuse to ignore real life and do some more reading. Hoping to finish one more book before the end.
FYI 228 pages read yesterday. I promise I will get myself into my office and onto my computer to log things at some point today:)

I couldn't sleep last night and have finished The Last Wish. That will probably be the last one I finish but will keep adding to the logs.
We have some guesses and possibly manage this last puzzle. Currently I have no clue but I'm going to guess an N to get us started.

(Why did anyone put me in charge of this game? I'm obviously terrible at it.)
Your spreadsheet is updated!

So looking like it might be Madame Bovary after all? If I’m reading the tracking sheet properly, we have 2 more guesses? If so, then should we guess a B and then solve?

I will guess the B and solve.
