Lori wrote: "I’ve guessed B. I think the title is Anansi Boys"I wondered that as well, but if it is, there aren’t enough letters in it that we are allowed to guess ...
That was my thought too. We’ll see if there is a B.
B is there and in the right place. I’ve guessed Y.
(If you run out of consonants to guess, I'll let you know haha! That's a totally real possibility with some of these titles.)
Wow, a lot happened while I was busy/asleep (it's still the middle of the night here, but here I am...)Let's try for N and L - I'll post those
I added my audio hours for the day, and I think maybe Hannah did the same, so we have one quess now. I’ll go ask for that P :)
The first P was where we expected it to be, but the last one is missing. I have asked Emily if she might just have missed one when updating, so we'll see. I am off to bed, sleep well everyone :)
She says she missed it and updated the spreadsheet, it isn't there yet but I think we have the right book :)Just need to read more so we can guess it.
I have gone back to War and Peace, now at page 966 of 1350, but the pages are long and print is small, so it is not great for points! I have committed to finishing it before the end of the month for a Classics Club challenge, but may switch tomorrow to my AtY book for next week and hope to finish that over the weekend - either way I won't be contributing as much from now on. I have neglected many things this week in order to read!
As long as you enjoy your reading Sue, that is the most important.I probably won't have much time to read this weekend, but I will manage some more audio hours today.
edit: and I will finish at least one book
I finished a book and listened to 2 hours of audio today. I just can't update the spreadsheet from my phone if someone else can add them!
I added them for you, since you finished a book you can make a guess. The P has been added so it looks like Sue is right with Pomegranate Soup
According to the spreadsheet we have 1 guess so I went for M
Wherever you like Lieke! The most common letters (that we are allowed to use) are N, L, C, but I have just thought of one that would work without any of those letters - Harriet the Spy!
I’ve guessed P and asked if we have a missing H.
Lori has already posted P as a guess, and has also queried the missing H from the second word. Just waiting on Emily to action it.
I finished a book which gave us another guess, but I think we haven’t got any letters left that are allowed it is only R, S and T left. If we are right :)Or is the Y allowed to be guessed?
I asked if we could guess S....
Edit: I saw on the topic about the game it is no A, E, I, O, or U. So I changed my guess to Y.
Good morning, team! So close to getting that last puzzle, great work everyone!
I had a good reading day yesterday, and was able to sit down for a couple of hours enjoying a book in the afternoon sun at the balcony :) It also helped that I started a fluffy fantasy book where the pages flew by.
We are only missing approx 100 pages to be able to get that last guess and solve our puzzle, so if anyone has any pages unlogged, now is the time to add them ;)
I have added the book I finished today (it has been raining and very windy so read more than I expected today), but it didn't add enough points to make a guess. I have not added my pages yet, as I will read some more, and Emily has gone to bed for a few hours so nothing will happen with the guesses anyway for a while. It's now late afternoon here so I will add my total pages a bit later and make the guess, unless someone else gets there before me!
I’ve just added my reading from yesterday, so we’ve now got enough pages to make a guess. I don’t there are any letters we are allowed to guess left, so should we go for S?
Great! It doesn't really matter what letter we choose now - just guess anything and at the same time give the answer!
I am close to finishing two books, one audio and one print. Will at least finish up one of them later this afternoon. Now I’m having lunch guests coming over. Enjoy the last day of the rat!:)
We’re now on puzzle 10 which is another person related title - Book titles in this category contain someone's first and/or last name.
We have 1 guess available so far.

I finished my audio book (Slaughterhouse 5), and that gave us one more guess for audio hours. Shall we start the guessing with a N, or any other preferances?
Sounds good Hilde.I haven’t read anything today had a sports competition and a birthday. Maybe tonight...
Ok, we got lucky with the N as the puzzle had two N’s. Now that they are in place, I think it might be (view spoiler). We currently have 2 guesses as Hannah finished a book. I’m gonna Ask for a P to verify if my guess fits.
Yay, the P was confirmed! Then we know the book, but are short of just one tiny guess to be able to guess the title. (I’ll go ask for a K now as our third guess). Thanks for a fun readathon, everyone! It was great fun guessing the titles with you all this week 😊
I tried so hard to finish the book I was reading yesterday to get another guess.....but just wasn't to be....kids got in the way...I've added my pages but doesn't really help.

Bravo, you had it guessed so soon! :)
We have 5 guesses to start us of, what do you all want to start with now that the usual's are no longer an option? Maybe a N?
