Fall '20 Read-a-Thon: The Bennet Family

Will guess the T now.
And I’m off to bed will start new books tomorrow (audio and paper).

The book (Den tredje løgnen) was great btw. It was the last in a trilogy (The Notebook Trilogy), a masterpiece in my opinion. All of them short and quick reads, definitely among my favorite reads this year.

I haven't read as much today due to work and babysitting duties, but will add my pages later and we should get another guess.

That's a good one, let's see if the R and N fit :)

I think W would be a good idea for our next letter.
We better get some reading done so we can guess the puzzle :D

Yes, I just posted my numbers for today and guessed a W, and also asked if an R is missing - there should be two in the last word!

PUZZLE 5: RHYME TIME
The puzzle is a phrase with rhyming words in it or a list of thematically similar things whose names rhyme. In this case, the book title will have a rhyme or alliteration within the title.

.nn. .. ....n .....s
Does anyone have an idea?
Edit: I think I know Anne of Green Gables

I was just coming to post the same, Lieke! It must be that one. But we can use our guess for G, and then we know for sure.

Do we need another guess for this puzzle? If so I go 'B'

Edited to say I've submitted B to the letter post.

Now about to start Blueback by Tim Winton - probably Australia's best known contemporary literary novelist. This one is a YA/Children's novel so should be a very quick read!

I see that you have one hour of audio logged before this, should I substract that from the hours above, or is the 11 h 16 m in addition to that? I noted you down with 1 book finished in the spreadsheet.

So in total you listened to 12h 16m?

Good guess Hilde, I think I know the title :)

Since you made it through the first six puzzles I had planned in record speed, you are now entering our LIGHTNING ROUND!
New Rules for the Lightning Round:
- You must get either 2000 pages, 10 audio hours, or 2 books in order to earn one guess.
- In addition to vowels, you are not allowed to guess R, S, or T!
*All previously earned guesses will carry over into the lightning round. I've updated your spreadsheet accordingly.
PUZZLE 7: BEST SELLER
This book has been in the first place spot on the NY Times Best Sellers list.
