oh I see... um, have you started reading the new book for witches?
If you could, please let me know about books where the required shelf is close to the bottom of the third column when you looked at them (in case they get shafted down when you've finished reading) so you can still claim those books.

Yep, I've started the new witches one, and this time I'm pretty sure that it's not going to fall off of the first page before I've finished it.

Um, I'm really sorry about this but i can't see low-fantasy on 1st or 2nd page of the top shelves... Unfortunately, that means this book does not qualify :(

You were right, Tien :) a brick of a book. But it was an okay read. Lots of subtle humor. 3 stars from me.

I won't be able to get to a pc tonight to start the threads for Round 2 (sorry, guys, were not home so yea). Will do so asap (probably tomorrow morning).
The rest of you keep reading!! Firstly, don't you want a complete pie? Secondly, you won't be able to unlock Round 3, if you don't finish rounds 1 & 2 - we'll have to depend on LynnB only.
Um, asking for a friend .... ;)For those of us who have been REALLY slack and reading books for other challenges because they come from the library and all the books for this challange are their own, can / do we do rounds 1 & 2 concurrently, or do we have to finish round 1 first ?

My situation isn't too bad. I have one duplicate, one slice [science fiction - my least favorite genre :0( ] and the final fantasy slice.

this will be in the rules for round 2: you can do both rounds concurrently but books cannot overlap ;D

By "books cannot overlap" do you mean you can't count the same book for both rounds 1 and 2 or you can't read books from both rounds at the same time?

Lahni, I am guessing Tien means the book can only count for one round not both.
I AM reading one of the books now, and another one is in the pile of 8 next to my bed ( rather than the shelf of 30-something current TBRs next to my desk).I love doing challenges, but sometimes I think I put too much pressure on myself. More so with ordering from the library. I have a couple due back on the 8th, and 4 that can't be renewed for the 12th, and work has been 10 hour straight days ( not including travel ) all week.
Hoping to finish at least 2 books this weekend.

I must have misread the childrens classics one, that happens more times than I care to admit. Witches was on the first page for Macbeth yesterday, must have fallen off oh well back to the drawing board.
