Remember all to write the pages read on your "enrolment" message: if you don't remember which is yours, it's the numer before your name in the second message of this discussion!!!

I've updated the list with the number of pages read the whole week end; I've not considered those who have not written down the number for sunday.
PLEASE: Don't write another message for new numbers; update your original message! If you don't remember which one it was, it is the number before your name in the list!

Thanks:) I've been suffering eye strain and am only allowed to read for four hours per day so my totals are a lot less than they could be:(

Probably due to different time constraints; you probably work whereas I am recently retired, you probably have family while I am widowed etc. Lots of factors affect our reading.

Just glad to have you in the Readathon's I've been in so far :) Sorry to hear about your eyes tho'.

Pretty dismal indeed Heather.I suggest that you take amphetamines, quit working nights, dump the boyfriend, and stay away from the cinema. You're welcome.
Haha, thanks john! Anybody who knows me is aware I have a lot on my plate and am always trying to fit in more. I'm happy with my busy life currently

Updated the list and the page count. We are still under the 20.000 we thought we could reach, but some people are still missing: they have not read at all this week end - possible even for us if the weather was fine and there was somewhere nice to go to!!!! - or they simply have forgotten to write the pages down? We'll wait a little bit: we miss only 300 pages ...

I have accepted, John. I actually don't live in Brighton anymore. I left 2.5 years ago! I should really change that. I hope you are still happy to stay friends!

Thanks Heather... It was with my student daughter who had some rather scary big heart thumps all in one day. She asked me to meet her at the hospital but took herself to the wrong one by bus so first hour was waiting for her to arrive! Glad to say everything seems to be fine.
