Here’s the info I remember: - these books were in my primary school library in 2006/7 - they were far from new books that must have been published way earlier - they were a bit like I Spy or Where’s Wally in that you had to find things in the illustrations - in each book there was also a tiny gemstone hidden somewhere in the book you had to find (like the ‘expert mode’ challenge) that I genuinely struggled to find as a child, sometimes I never found it - they were nature themed and based in different settings (one I can remember is the Arctic/Antarctic/somewhere snowy?) with lots of animals - they were roughly the same size and thickness of Tintin books - they had a very traditional illustration style - the pages might have had intricate borders
If you have any idea what these books were or know their name please let me know, it would make me so happy 😌
