I can't believe we're talking about September. It's been a far busier summer than you'd think, what with a pandemic and all. But I missed both July and August deadlines and I really want to get back to at least one routine. So, here are my picks for September. These are all ongoing, but it's been a while. I may actually need to move on past one or two of the ones I've picture and go to the next in the series.

Julia Buckley -- Writer's Apprentice
Jenn McKinlay -- Library Lovers
Harper Lin -- Secret Agent Granny

Hi Helen,
I'm not familiar with most of your series but a trip to France sounds good right about now so I am picking the Maggie Newberry mysteries for you. Happy reading!

Plus it's involving enough to take your head out of the busy-ness but not so dense that it would be overwhelming with every other distraction that's currently out there!
Michelle wrote: "Jennifer, I pick the Cat Latimer Series for you because I have been thinking about reading it myself. Looking forward to hearing how you like the series. Happy Reading!!"Oh yay! I read one recently by accident -- i thought it was from another series by the same author -- and the next thing you know I'm downloading the whole series.....
Hi Meg,I pick the Garage Sale series for you. I love the movies :). Happy Reading,
Karen

thanks QNPoohBear,Here is my review for #1 in the series when I read it back in 2016. Definitely need to get back to this series.
Val Deniston, having recently moved from NYC to her grandfather’s home in MD, has taken over the operation of a café at the local tennis club. When she arrives at tennis team captain Nadia’s house to discuss a catering menu for the annual team banquet she finds Nadia’s body with a whittled tennis racquet handle embedded in her neck. Since her cousin, Monique, had a grudge against Nadia and had used a similar racquet as a prank, she is the prime suspect. Val is determined to find the killer to save her cousin. There is a great side story dealing with her curmudgeonly grandfather and his cooking. There are some interesting characters here. I’ll be interested to see where the series goes

Hello Hilary,
My apologies for being the last to post. I’ve been camping off the grid for a couple of days, but I did manage to do some reading.
I’m choosing the Amish B&B series for you, as I enjoyed the first one, and would like to get back to that series.

Finished both of my books...Murder Makes Scents and 15 Minutes of Flame by Christin Brecher
I enjoyed book one, book two, Murder Makes Scents, kind of dragged on for me but I sure did like book three, 15 Minutes of Flame. The author had you guessing from one character to the next on who did it! Great book, characters and storyline! This is a great series over all!
