Fangirl Fangirl question

Is this book better as a stand alone or should it have a sequel

I'd love a sequel. Maybe having Levi's POV too.

Maybe not a sequel, but Wren's POV.

Rainbow announced that there will be a book called Carry On that will come out in October of 2015 and is the fanfiction Cath wrote!

I don't think this was set up to have a sequel. The story wrapped up beautifully. It's better to leave a beautiful book alone than try to twist it into something it's not and end up messing it up.

I think a sequel would be great! I love Cath's story and would like to know where everyone goes after college and beyond!

Sharon Weitendorf I'm with you. It would be nice to see what happens to all the characters after college. I feel the author just left us hanging. ...more

Hmm I'm not sure if a sequel would be the best for Fangirl. I don't know where you would start on Cath and Levi's relationship. I would like to see some more Simon Snow cuz there is only so much fan fiction you can write and read ^_^.

stand alone ;)

Standalone

shes not writing a sequel, but she is writing carry on, and its coming out in october

no, it's perfect as a standalone! :)

I think it works as a standalone.
Novellas would be Nice, and spinoffs, but not direct sequels no.

I'd love like a chapter of cath in carry on. But as a stand alone it was perfect

I like how the book ended. I think it tied up every loose end perfectly, but I mean, who wouldn't want a sequel!?

I feel like Rainbows writing is so strong and fantastic that all of her books are better stand alones. She lets you think about what could happen, what you think should happen, and what did happen. She lets us create our own sequel in a sense. I love the cliffhanger that she will leave at the end of her books.

I'd like a sequal but I think it might ruin it. I like to make up ideas of how I's like it to end. That Levi and Cath live happily ever after!!!!

Hm, i would like to see Cath and Levi's relationship grow from another persons POV. So yeah, possibly Reagans.

A sequel would be amazing but if it does happen, I don't want to be disappointed xD

Nah, I think it's better as a stand alone.

I don't think there should be a sequel, but I want to read Cath's story that she wrote for Ficion Writing (about her mom)

honestly, I wouldnt be interested in Carry On. Yes I have read the little snippets of it from Fangirl but it doesnt interest me. I mniiiight give it a try, but that just my opinion. Does anyone else agree with me?

Stand alone!! The story ended nicely and a sequel would just be continuing it, but it already ended very nicely. Excited for Carry On though!

if you read landline, levi and cath make a cameo there towards the end of the book =) i wont say anything else because i dont wanna spoil it for anyone else.

No sequel. I prefer the irony of a book about a girl writing fan-fiction that i am writing fanfiction about.

I've love to see a squeal to this book, I loved Fangirl. Series are great, there's always more to look forward too, but saying that Fangirl was fantastic as a standalone novel.
