I read this book in around the range of year 2008-2011. I remember seeing lots of pages with first-person perspective drawings, the main character drove in his car up into this hotel(in pouring rain?), and there were lots of different residents in the hotel, they were all unique...in their own ways. In one of the scenes I remember, a resident girl was dressed in all white, with a big white hat, sitting in a wheelchair on the beach
