I’m now starting my first book which is

It is only 305 pages but the writing is small so it’ll take me some time.

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
Denmark
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
I’m reading book 3 and 4 in a series and I’m looking forward to them both
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
It is so hot that I’m looking forward to the ice cream lollies.
4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I like canoing and geocaching. Unfortunately I haven’t done much canoing lately but I’ve been geocaching quite often during the pandemic.
5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?
I joined the last one in April but never got around to reading anything as I was out all day till late evening. This time I’ve got the whole day for reading and I think I’ll be reading to the end.

Mercy Blade by Faith Hunter.
Now I’m going to read a couple of short stories set in that world between book 3 and 4

1. What are you reading right now?
Well, at hour 12 I was still reading Mercy Blade by Faith Hunter
2. How many books have you read so far?
Just finished that one book
3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?
The next book in the series.
4. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?
No interruptions, I’m lucky.
5. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far?
No surprises.

Blood, Fangs and Going Furry
and
Dance Master
both short stories set between Mercy Blade that I just read and Raven cursed that I’ll read now.
I should finish it around midnight

I think that is it for me as I reached my goal of 2 books.

Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-Thon
In April I joined but ended up not taking part as I was out all day. This time I've got the whole day set aside for reading.
In Denmark the reading times are 2am Saturday to 2am Sunday which means I'll be reading all day Saturday.
