It was actually yesterday, but I finished The Order of the Pure Moon Reflected in Water (which I loved) and started Gentlemen of the Road by Michael Chabon.
And finished Gentlemen of the Road and started In an Absent Dream, fourth in Seanan McGuire's Wayward Children series.
Am now a good ways into Come Tumbling Down, fifth in Seanan McGuire's Wayward Children series. I love these books!
I meant to read Gideon and then this. I need to up my game, I'm reading all sorts of fluffy stuff!
Finished Harrow the Ninth (which does, in fact, come together at the end) and decided it was time for some old-school sword & sorcery, so started The Coming of Conan the Cimmerian by (of course) Robert E. Howard.
I finished The Girl in the Tower yesterday. Had some trouble keeping my attention on it -- for various reasons, not the book's fault. I still liked it, but I think I'll wait until it's actually winter before reading the final book.

There was to much prettiness of language and not enough plot for me :)

Yeah, I think that is a weakness of the first book, but there is more of a plot in the second book.
Oh cool. I’ll put it back on the list.
I’ve started Terry Brooks. I don’t have a huge choice of audio in Fantasy. Unless you count young kids books. But they are expanding and the Ilse Witch trilogy came in. Then I realised I’d only read half the set of books (paperback days). I have 2/3 of the next in paper too. I also have the next in kindle and 1 other set in kindle books.
I think because you don’t see them physically, you forget they’re there ready to read so I decided that I’d read them in chronological order.
I can’t see what I’m typing!! App!!!

And I was talking about the library. They also have the last two sets in physical copies. So wish me luck!
Spent a few days semi-off the grid (up at my parents', where the internet speed is measured with single digits) during which I finished The Coming of Conan the Cimmerian, devoured Bone Silence in as close to one sitting as I could manage, and started Walter Jon Williams' Quillifer, which so far is giving me a bit of a K.J. Parker vibe. (Which is, of course, not a bad thing.)
I just finished How to Stop Time. I liked it, but could have been stronger in terms of plot. Now diving into The Rage of Dragons.
Started reading Memories of Ice today. I was on a break from Malazan series for some time. I will start another book in parallel to be read during small breaks in daily routine. Gotta step up the reading speed now or i will end up missing this year's target.
It's round-up time once again! How many books did you read? Any favorites?
