This is about a book where a boy lived with his parents who had familiars. The familiars had special powers that allow them to make drawings or paintings become real. The imperial army came to haul these pets away and execute them due to unknown reasons. Because the parents are magically linked to the familiars, they die. The boy decides to leave the country in search of a better life and along the way, he encountered a bird who follows him. He realized the bird is his familiar and decided to make a run for it. However, someone alerted the army and they came chasing after him. He drew some flames and his familiar made the flames become real and he escaped. Then, he met someone like him, and was guided to a safehouse that was protected from the army, and he met some children like him, with familiars. He felt safe there where he practiced his drawing skills. The mentor forced him to draw perfect circle with his eyes closed. He did that kind of exercises everyday. Until one of their own teachers betrayed them to the army. They barely escaped and decided to travel to a country where those familiars aren’t outlawed and there are flying horses. That’s all I remember please help me find this book
