I'm reading Reading People: How Seeing the World through the Lens of Personality Changes Everything by Anne Bogel which fits #33 What job would you hate? - public relations director because I'm an introvert. Bogel's book is about personality types.
I did have a productive Sunday. 220 pages today. I started The Last Flight by Julie Clark, and I am already sucked in. I will definitely finish my audiobook tomorrow, so I am going to have to make sure it fits in a empty slot. That should be interesting....lol
I finished reading Humble Pi: A Comedy of Maths Errors yesterday. I slotted it under a thing I consider to be very good at. It was one of my good subjects at school and I did enjoy maths. That is the reason I read the book.
I'm 42% through Artemis. I should have it completed in the next day or two. My page counts are updated. I'm also picking up Where the Sidewalk Ends from the library tomorrow (Tuesday) that I need to read for the summer challenge so I should be able to count that one somewhere since it is over 100 pages as well. I'd pick it up sooner but due to Covid the hours of the library have been shortened. I'm also planning on starting an audio today. Not sure which one though.
Finished The Shadows at 4 AM. It was really good! I put it as #13 What is your favorite sport or physical activity? I love going to state parks to walk on trails and grew up in a very wooded area of Texas. The story is set in a small town surrounded by woods. Although these are not woods I would like to walk in, very creepy and detrimental to one's health. I will start today Hit the Road Jack and should finish tomorrow.
Great job, Fudgesicles! I hope to finish my book for #33 today. Still working on Home by Marilynne Robinson. It's a denser read than I anticipated. Lots to think about.
I finished Reading People: How Seeing the World through the Lens of Personality Changes Everything for #33.
I started Life Will Be the Death of Me: . . . and You Too! on audio by Chelsea Handler today. It should go quick. I'm already a third done.
I finished Death of a Salesman and put it in the #22 slot What’s your pet peeve?.... Sells calls are a major pet peeve. Poor Willie Loman is a salesman. I hopefully will finish Hit the Road Jack soon.
I finished my audio today! I really had to stretch to make it fit a category left. I stuck it in #25. Crazy activity to try- interview a serial killer one day? Right now the serial killer is covid. I will pick a new audio tomorrow. I have some driving to do. Off to read my hardback. Have a good night everyone!
Kelly wrote: "I finished my audio today! I really had to stretch to make it fit a category left. I stuck it in #25. Crazy activity to try- interview a serial killer one day? Right now the serial killer is covid...."LOL! Feel free to take other questions even if they have light blue plans penciled in like mine.
Thanks Ana! I looked at those too. The book was good, it just wasn't really diverse in subject matter. So it wasn't like I could answer many of the questions. I will pick the next audio with the questions in mind!
I finished off The Bride Test today, but I'm having trouble figuring out where to fit it in. I'll have to look again tomorrow when I'm more awake. I also started With the Fire on High.
I haven't read The Bride Test, but it could be the name of a boat, or the best present (a wedding ring?), or, if you're not married, what would you wish for from a genie, or even something that gets you motivated (the word test - if something's on a test, it motivates me).
I didn't get a chance to read much yesterday, and I'm not super hopeful about today either, given my schedule. Trying to get in at least 100 pages a day (fell a bit short at 97 yesterday but my eyes could not stay open much longer). I'll hopefully finish The Magicians by Thursday, though, and I'd like to get another book in before the end of the Read-A-Thon!
I just finished Bone Talk by Candy Gourlay for question 37: Have an endless supply of any food, what would you get? You'd think it's for the author's name "Candy" but it's actually bone. There's a dish called bulalo, it's soup and the meat still on the bone and the bone marrow tastes so good.
I got an early start this morning and read two chapters of Artemis and listened to Life Will Be the Death of Me: . . . and You Too!. I should be done Life Will Be the Death of Me tomorrow. I could possibly be done Artemis tomorrow as well. I have some errands to run tonight so we will see.
Started this Book this morning.....#15> What is your favorite Holiday ? I Love Christmas !
I Choose NOS4A2 By Joe Hill. Even thou I hope never to go Christmas town.
I finished Silence of the Chagos: A Novel by Shenaz Patel. I added it for #27 What is something you would want with you on a desert island? I'd say books of course. The book takes place on the islands of Diego Garcia and Mauritius.
Emily wrote: "I haven't read The Bride Test, but it could be the name of a boat, or the best present (a wedding ring?), or, if you're not married, what would you wish for from a genie, or even something that get..."Oh, that's a good one. I put it down for the genie question since I'd like to get married someday.
I finally finished Hit the Road Jack. It took a while longer than expected. I put it in the "#32 What is a place you would love to move to?" slot. It is set in Florida on the beach. While I would not like to live on the beach full time, a beach house to get away on the weekends would be nice. I am starting Glimpse Of Death and then I will be finished with the summer AtY challange.
I finished With the Fire on High, and I've put it down for what I'd want on a desert island because I'd want a personal chef or at least great food.
Rachel wrote: "I finished With the Fire on High, and I've put it down for what I'd want on a desert island because I'd want a personal chef or at least great food."That's a great idea.
But it was already answered. Maybe they had a vegetable there that you'd like to be? (I never thought I'd ask this question.)
I am reading Fearless: The Amazing Underdog Story of Leicester City, the Greatest Miracle in Sports History by Jonathan Northcroft. I should finish it by the end of the day. It will fit question 43 Be an Olympic athlete, what sport would you compete in? I used to play football or soccer for americans when I was i high school.
Me: I want to read at least 100 pages each day of this Read-a-Thon
Also Me: *reads 31 pages and passes out*
Sigh. Life is so busy this week... hopefully I can read more on Thursday and Friday, but I'm full of meetings today. Sorry team!

Hi all,I’m on a road trip and will probably lose signal ina few minutes. I should finish Long Bright River today, if that works for any categories, and Doomsday Book tomorrow for time travel, but I may not be able to check in again. I’ll try! My pages are updated through yesterday in the spreadsheet though.
Finished the NOS4A2 . Anyone else read this book? Also I'm finishing the last 200 pages of Mexican Gothic.
Prompt#35 If you had a boat what would you name it ? Noemi'
Don't know what I'm going to read next.
Ana A wrote: "Rachel wrote: "I finished With the Fire on High, and I've put it down for what I'd want on a desert island because I'd want a personal chef or at least great food."That's a great ..."
Oh...I guess I didn't scroll far enough over on the spreadsheet. The only vegetable I can distinctly remember in there were cremini mushrooms. I can't say that I've ever specifically wanted to be a mushroom, but I guess we can count it there anyway?
Just finished Home for number 19.EDIT: I see someone finished before me. Moving this one to: #2 Which bad habits of other people drive you crazy?
When people don't show up when they've said they would!
In Home, Jack has always come and gone as he pleases.

Sigh. Life is so busy this week... hopefully I can read more on Thursday and Friday, but..."
I've had weeks like that too, Emily!
I'm starting Cool Japan Guide: Fun in the Land of Manga, Lucky Cats and Ramen by Abby Denson. It fits #26 If you woke up tomorrow as an animal, what animal would you choose to be? I'd choose a cat. There's a character named "Kitty Sweet Tooth" in this graphic novel. It may fit other prompts. I'll see as I read.
My yesterday was crazy. I did do a lot of driving, so I started a new audiobook- Anna Kendrick's Scrappy Little Nobody. It is so funny, and I am flying through it. I am making good progress on The Last Flight too. I haven't tried to figure out where they would fit, as we are flying through prompts. I updated my page read total. Good job everyone!
I completed Life Will Be the Death of Me: . . . and You Too!. I'm using it for the prompt #21 - What is the one thing that you do to get motivated. So I watch funny sitcoms or listen to funny books. They always put me in a better mood and I'm more apt to get some chores done if I'm in a better mood. I either do that or I listen to music that I can dance around to.
I just updated my pages read for yesterday and also where I'm at today. I'm hoping to complete Artemis tonight or tomorrow.

That's okay. It is one of the sillier questions on there. I'm sure nobody would actually want to be a vegetable. 😅
I finished To Be Taught, If Fortunate for question 41: What is the best present you've ever been given? I'm gonna give a corny answer and say education is the best present. 😊
I'm about halfway through Yes No Maybe So, and really looking forward to finishing it tomorrow if I can! I have a long day ahead tomorrow.
I finished reading Fearless: The Amazing Underdog Story of Leicester City, the Greatest Miracle in Sports History by Jonathan Northcroft yesterday.
I finished Cool Japan Guide: Fun in the Land of Manga, Lucky Cats and Ramen for #26. Seems we have just 5 left to fill!
I finished Glimpse Of Death. Used it for #28 If you were in a band, what kind of music would you play? While it is hard to believe (really hard!), I would have to say a Death Metal band. Time to move on to a less gruesome book, Good Enough
I just started February's Files, which will work for #18, a month you would get rid of if you could.
We could use wildcards if we want to move onto the next group of questions. Just a thought. We have three left.
That'd be great, Laurel. Then we only have #4 which Emily is working on, but I know she's been very busy.
I have been busy! I have about 100 pages left in my book, but I don't think I'll be able to finish it tonight, if y'all want to put a Wild Card on it. Then we can start the second round.
