I just finished this book, and I actually ended up enjoying it, despite finding it a bit slow and long in the middle of the story. I loved Ashley’s character, she was brave, strong and never gave up no matter what. I also liked her dark humour and commentary, despite her dire situation. Seriously, if I was lost in a forest with a decaying foot I probably would have given up and/or died. I also really liked the ending, and the way things were wrapped up in the end! :)

I ended up dnf-ing this due to it being slow in the beginning, but maybe I’ll pick it up again!

I was thinking of dnf-ing it at the beginning too, and I agree it was slow at times. I ended up giving the book 3.5/5 stars. It was ok, but I don’t think it’s for everyone, and I can see why you may not like it.
