ABANDONED. Fantasy tween book with a boy wearing dragon wings on the cover, one word title

I can picture the cover pretty well in my mind, but the actual story I can't really remember. I read this probably five to three years ago, and it looked somewhat new then, probably published around 2010s.

FOCUS:There was a boy, tween age, on the right side of the cover wearing this fairly normal sized crafted dragon like wings for him that were a muddy brown color. He was also probably wearing some shorts and a shirt, but I'm not too sure about that. The hair was also a nice chocolate brown that didn't stick up or anything like a wild child. He was looking up toward this giant dragon on the left side too, but for some reason I can't even recall anything about the dragon in the story, so maybe it wasn't that big of a focus in the book. The dragon was red, looking at the boy, with the head slightly towering over the boy. I'm pretty sure that if you stacked the guy up twice, he would be the same height if not slightly smaller than the dragon, so the ratio wasn't a massive difference though.

SURROUNDINGS: the ground was either a nice grass green, or kinda dusty with some rocks. Background had a nice blue sky behind some good ol' green trees.

STYLE: relatively old fashioned. Like the way it was drawn was kind of like old time fairy tales where everything kinda looks like dust and faded color pencil colors where nothing is too sharp or clean like the book covers nowadays.

TITLE: on the bottom, and it was one word in all caps. I feel like the word were two words that were paired together (maybe something with less?) and it felt semi magical or something. The font actually kinda reminds me if The Cruel Prince and Fablehaven fonts had a child where the letters mainly took after the cruel prince, but it had fablehaven's slight curve to maybe fit in all the letters since it was a pretty lengthy word. The font color was probably brown.

STORY?: The only thing I can actually remember about the story is pixies. Somewhere in the story, the boy might've encountered these little fairies, but that honestly could be entirely false.

i've tried looking for this book before but I couldn't find it, so thank you in advance.
