Christa (lessthn3) | 90 comments I was recommended Thinking, Fast and Slow about a month ago, so I think I'll give that one a shot.

Jennifer Hands up who had to Google the meaning? *Raises hand*

message 7: by Fay (new)

Fay Roberts @jenn Me! I so googled it!

message 8: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer Hehe!

message 9: by Fay (new)

Fay Roberts I just finished Time Untime by Sherrilyn Kenyon for this category. It's book 32 of an ongoing series and follows a story arc that started after book.

message 10: by Fay (new)

Fay Roberts *app messed up on last post* It follows am arc that started after book 23, so if you haven't read at least a few this isn't a great place to start. It's also not one of the best in the series. I was prepared for great things from this one as it takes place at a crucial point in an ongoing story but I feel as though big chunks where missing so although cohesive a lot of the richness that you get in the other books. I think it may be more down to editing than the book itself. I do completely endorse the series as a whole though. It ain't great literature but the writing style is accessible and the story's intriguing .

message 15: by Samantha (new)

Samantha (samanyaaron) | 146 comments @Fay I wasn't keen on Time Untime at all, I didn't feel a connection with the characters as I have done with the earlier ones.

@Jennifer - Me too, I had to google lol

message 16: by Fay (new)

Fay Roberts @sam, I know right?!?! And it was pivotal to the arc. It had been building up to this too so it was a real let down. I honestly think it was edited to death. Styxx is next, am I going to be disappointed do you reckon?

message 17: by Samantha (new)

Samantha (samanyaaron) | 146 comments @Fay - You definitely won't be disappointed with Styxx, I adored it even more than Acheron and I didn't think that was possible. If you enjoyed Acheron then I think you will like this one, it made me cry a lot through it! It explains a lot

I forget Ellen's book was an antonym!

message 19: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer Would 'Sister Brothers' count?

message 20: by Fay (new)

Fay Roberts @jennifer according to googles definition I thinking does......

message 21: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer Thanks Fay!. I'm trying to fill out the challenge using my to-read shelf and that's the only one I have.

Jodez (jodez4) | 66 comments The Wicked + The Divine, Vol. 1: The Faust Act looks interesting, Goodreads keeps recommending it and it was in one of HumbleBundle's recent comic bundles, so I thought why not!

I love The Wicked + The Divine. Good choice! I think the concept is just brilliant. :)

I've heard lots of good things about that book! It was my original pick for graphic novel...I might have to switch it to my antonym pick, too.

Samantha (samanyaaron) | 146 comments I'm thinking of trying to get a hold of Big Little Lies for this one

message 26: by Fay (new)

i ended up reading this and enjoyed it, but some parts fell short for me.

message 29: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (persephone17) I ended up reading The Wicked and The Divine: The Faust Act for this one, too. I wasn't super duper impressed....parts of it interested me but it seemed scattered. I wish I had enjoyed it more!
