July & August 2020 Newsletter

Hello fellow Crime, Mystery, and Thriller readers!

      🎤ANNOUNCEMENTS📣

❤️I wanted to give Jenny a shout out and a huge thank you for stepping in and handling all the admin responsibilities that we usually share while I was ill (for three months) and dealing with a death in the family.

Thank you so much Jenny! 💐

📚We will be reading one book in each category for July and August since we almost always have a marked decline in participation over the northern hemisphere summer months. This will allow everyone to extra reading time. (The exception will be in the Focus on the Author section.)

🌎🌏There has been some interest in a Book of the Month being read by Country so we'll give this a trial run. This discussion will serve as our running list of countries that we will select our books based on. A nomination discussion for our first Country read will open on July 1.

Karin Corneau (steveburtonfan29) | 18 comments thank you for this. ive been lurking a long time and have decided to participate. im reading Cards on the Table and on the waiting list for The Favorite Sister. PattyMacDotComma | 590 comments I'm sorry to hear of your ill health and death in the family. I thought I'd take this chance to say how much I appreciate your newsletters with links to all the various activities. Some groups just send a message to check the discussion boards (or don't send a message at all), so it's a real treat to have everything in one place.

Get better and stay well, and thanks also to Jenny for covering for you during your absence.
