Thanks for the reply. I also have published a few books, but I want to learn more. It's exciting to find a group with so much knowledge.

I have been following Jesus since 1983 and have been actively involved in part-time or full-time ministry since then.
I am also an author of the following Bible study related books:
Melchisedec: A Character Study
(My most reviewed book)
To Tithe or Not To Tithe? That is the Question
(My most recent book, newly released)
Baptisms: One? Many? Or Both?
(Likely my most controversial book - second most reviewed)
The Armor of God: Put it on, and Practice!
(One of my most popular books)
If anyone is interested in reading/reviewing these, please message me to discuss it.
Thank you, and God bless!
Robert W. Dallmann

I enjoy reading new Christian books of all kinds. Are your books availabe in print, or only as e-books? I don't have any type of e-book reader, but if the books are in print, I would be happy to read and review whatever you would like. Thanks!
Pamela

Hello Tina,
I would be glad to send you a copy of Jesus and Magdalene. Despite being a satire, the book has the utmost respect for Jesus.
Best wishes,

Hi Tina,
I love sharing my book "Walking With the Enemy: A Testimony." It's about my involvement with a Bible Study group that turned out to be a cult. I was with them for three years, and I grew to love and trust them, but after I found out the truth, I could no longer remain with them.
There are those who claim that Christians cannot be deceived, but that is absolutely false! I am just so thankful God showed me the truth and allowed me to be released from their control.
If you want a copy, just let me know via Private Message. (Please don't ever put personal data in a public forum. :)
You can go to my website if you would like to read about my book before you request a copy. Just go to www.truelightpublications.com
Take care! And may the LORD God be with you and others who seek to love and honor our dear God!
With the love of Christ,
C. Read

There is also a workbook that goes with it that many have used a small group study material for building better relationships and overcoming stress and anxiety. If you would be interested, send me an email at chase@trialsbook.com and I will send you the digital copy of both the book and the workbook for you to review. Thanks!
Chase

I just joined Goodreads and this group because I'm a newly published Christian book writer. My book, which I've already added to this group's bookshelf, is "Finding Your Safety Net: Do Having Faith, Being Baptized, and Taking Communion Have Value?".
Yes, there's a question mark at the end of the title.
I wrote the book as a former agnostic, atheist, and semi-Buddhist. I've been a believer in the Christian teachings for just five years. I was baptized (for the first time) three years ago. You all can read more about me and my book in my profile.
I'm looking forward to the experience that I'll have here.
From the United States, I currently live in Austria.
With Regards,
Glen

Thanks! And excellent questions! In my book, I briefly describe how the book came into being, but let me elaborate on it here.
When I was writing down notes as I was researching into if baptism was something that I wanted to do a little over two years after I became a believer, some friends suggested I should write a book about my journey. They found that my questions about baptism were so refreshingly different, encouraging, and inspiring.
So, soon after I decided if I wanted to become baptized (August 2017), I started to work on putting those notes together and organizing them for a book manuscript.
It was only during this latter process that I discovered that I had to include my backstory in order for my research into baptism to make any sense. Conveniently, adding the many needed backstories wasn't too difficult because I had (and still have) notes about everything. I started taking notes (in various forms) before 1997. Haha, I'm an historian :D
Then, when my beta-readers were giving me feedback two years later (2019), I discover that I had to add even more to my decision-making process about baptism and to my backstories. Once again, conveniently, I didn't have to think much because I had notes for everything (again, the historian in me LOL).
Indeed, of all of the mentioned notes, many had different purposes originally, including becoming the substance of a first memoir. "Finding Your Safety Net" is not the first intended memoir, but it definitely functions as a "first memoir" and as a "life statement".
With Regards,
Glen

I write books to help high school and college students deepen their faith while building success skills.
I am looking for reviewers for “Success Skills for High School, College, and Career (Christian Edition), Revised.”
If you are interested, please contact me (cary@skills4students.com). I will send you a link to view a sample, and you can decide if you want to review my book.
Thanks for the opportunity to join the group and to request reviews.

My name is Debby Sibert and I am someone who found her voice late in life having listened to limiting beliefs for way too long. "Who would read a book written by me? No one knows me!"
Then the Lord came through louder than those voices and He impressed on me that I don't need to know how He is going to use my books, I just need to be obedient and write them. So....I finally just recently published my first two on Amazon and the third one is with my editor right now.
I'm practically giving them away because the message is more important than the money. In fact the Kindle version is perma-free for my second one, so I invite you to download it if you think it could help you or someone you love. It's called "Your Antidote for Depression, Anxiety or Fear - Learn How to Experience Peace and Joy During Adversity and Uncertain Times." It's biblically based and I pray that it will be impactful for many lives.
I look forward to getting to know many of you over time and checking out your books. I love inspirational books that can help me grow in my faith.

My name is E.L. Irwin. My husband and I just celebrated 20 years of marriage. We have three children and live in the PNW (Upper Left/USA). I'm the author of three published novels (Out of the Blue, The Lost and Found, and Long Live the Rebel). My first, and only to date, conference that I've attended was the Northwest Christian Writers Renewal up in Kent, WA. I remember listening to one of the keynote speakers talking about HOW to get a Christian message across WITHOUT preaching. I took her advice to heart. While I do NOT advertise as a Christian author, my work reflects my values. Most reviewers tend to label my book as Christian fiction, so I'd say the message was getting across. My author tagline is, Classy, Sassy, Steamy, and Clean. My novels, regardless of whether they are romance, suspense, or now fantasy, will all, per my writing style, be STEAMY and yet remain CLEAN. Clean of language (cursing), excessive violence, and sex. In fact, I write in a decidedly pro-abstinence style. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Go ahead and ask if you have any questions, and hopefully, you'll have decided to at least check my books out.
Take care, All!
**In another post, I talk about two new fantasy novels that are releasing soon.

Hello Tina,
How do you feel about....romance? I promise to you I do NOT write gushy, baseless romance. If you've ever read Louis L'Amour -- he's a favorite author of mine -- I try to write as he did. First and foremost, I write the novel, the story, the heart and soul, and after is the romance. My first two novels, Out of the Blue and The Lost and Found, are both coming of age stories. If you're interested, let me know, I'd be happy to send them to you. Thanks!
E.L. Irwin

My name is Sara and I'm new to the group. I just deleted my FB, IG, and Twitter accounts so I'm excited to make some new friends on Goodreads.
I love Christian fiction, nonfiction, and children's books. I have a Christian book podcast and do a lot of reading. I also homeschool my four children, write, and have a newbie homestead. =]

I'm Kaci Lane, and I write clean romantic comedy and Christian romance. Feel free to send me a friend request on Goodreads so we can share great book recommendations.

Hi Kaci! I too am a Christian author. I write fantasy and always include a bit of romance in my novels.

I am 27 years old, born and raised in Lebanon, Christian Orthodox, I currently work as a financial reporter and I am a licensed (non - active) CPA from the state board of accountancy of the state of New Hampshire.
To me, writing is a safe space where I can freely express myself and let my emotions be.
A place where I forget my own gender, age and race, a place where my heart is the only boss.
Throughout the course of my life, writing has been my coping mechanism, writing about people and things that happened with me, and how I wish things could have been, gave me this sense of power and freedom.
Every time I write, I feel like I broke the chains of my chaotic silence.
Looking forward to interacting with everyone and having their support/reviews, specially that this is my first book.

And that's very generous of you to make the book available for free for a little bit! I hope you get a lot of good reviews, and I wish you all the best on your author's journey!

Regarding that first novel, “We Called Him Yeshua,” I’d found myself curious about what it might have been like to actually follow Jesus as He traveled throughout ancient Israel. What did those people see, and feel? So, I wrote a story from their perspective, drawing from actual people Jesus interacted with as recorded in the Bible. Like the woman who wept at Jesus’ feet while He was having dinner at the house of a church leader, and the compassion she felt from Jesus while the dinner host chastised her. Or the leper who said to Jesus, “If you are willing, you can make me clean,” and what he must have felt when Jesus placed His hand on the man’s shoulder, the man feeling the touch of another person for maybe the first time since he’d contracted that disease.
Anyway, I’m currently working on two more books—another novel, this one set in modern times, and a second book that’s something of a memoir. Writing is the best part of my day, followed by reading. Wish I could do more of both.
I hope you all have a great day. Take care,
CJ Penn

My Christian nonfiction book came out in December 2020 and is called "Seeing with Fresh Eyes: Sin, Salvation, and the Steadfast Love of God." It's a journey through my faith questions which I had finally, after some agonizing soul-searching over my feeling of disconnection with God, allowed myself to ask.
For example, I had no problem believing that Jesus was God, that He had become incarnate, and that somehow, mysteriously, He had died for my sins and rose again. I just didn’t understand how—how the Cross, how His blood, and how His resurrection reconciled me back to God. Startlingly, I soon found that others weren’t sure either. Worse, just like me, they had also been taught that “it was a mystery that we can’t be expected to fully understand.” But how could I fully trust what I was unable to understand?
My search for truth, coupled with a willingness to give up what I found to not be true (scary!), led me to satisfying answers and a much better relationship with God Himself.
I'm definitely looking for reviewers so I'll post that in that thread. But again, I'm happy to have found you all and hope to make good new connections!

I'm an author, beta reader, book reviewer, blurb writer and editor. Although most of the books I've edited in the past were secular in nature, I'm trying to move into the more edifying genre of Christian lit. I feel called to specialize in books written by my brethren. I would like to advertise my services in this group, but I'm not sure if that's acceptable, so if anybody is interested in learning more feel free to message me.
God comes first in my life; always has, and always will. May God bless and guide you in your writing journeys.

Thank you! My name is S. Daisy, actually, but my friends just call me Daisy. ;-)
Would it be acceptable to post a thread in this group describing and offering my services? Where would I go about doing that? I didn't exactly see anywhere meant for editors.

Hello, Daisy, and welcome! I’m also a Christian author and editor, as well as the director of The Christian PEN: Proofreaders and Editors Network. If you’re looking for support and resources as you move into the field of Christian editing, I would highly recommend checking out what The Christian PEN has to offer. You can learn more at https://thechristianpen.com or let me know if you have any questions. :)

I believe that all people from each area of life need to hear the good news of Jesus. I am also trying to find different ways to let that happen. The reason I am writing is one of them. You can connect with me on https://bible-meditations.my.canva.site/ or visit https://www.freebiblesermons.com/, where I write blog posts on different Christian topics. I know my English needs to improve, but I am trying my best to copy edit and proofread what I write. Up to this moment, I published two books. Practical Eschatology and Signs of the End times: A sober view of what could happen in the coming days and Common questions about God and the Bible: The most common and often controversial questions about God and the Bible. My purpose is not to make an income, and actually I am investing much more than what I manage to earn. I hope to improve with time on this as well.
May God bless you and help you with everything He has set up for you to accomplish!

Happy to James. I am all of the above. I'll send a connect invite. I also publish AWESOME AUTHOR Tips for Writers. It's about all things "authoring" (authoring is everything involved in writing, publishing, and marketing our books!). It's free to subscribe https://awesomeauthor.substack.com/

Hi James,
My name is Anna Towan, and I'm a published author of "Project Clock Codes: Releasing Messiah's Matrix." I have been a born-again Christian since I was 22.
I joined this group hoping to get some book reviews and noticed that many Christians are here for the same reason. This led me to create my own Christian Book Reviewer Gig on Fiverr. If you're interested, you can find me at https://www.fiverr.com/anna_towan.
Because I am relatively new, I am able to offer my services at an affordable price. I have personally reviewed people's books and am operating on faith that will benefit Christians in the future.
