The book was definitely from the early to mid 2000s. Got a copy of it from either costco or sam's club. Book was about a kid who found a family of small monsters living in his attic, including a frankenstein's monster, a werehuman (a dog that turned into a person) and a vampire. They help him thwart an alien invasion intending to use human souls as energy sources for alien super soldiers. Thanks!

I checked that one previously, it's not it. It wasn't part of a series, it was a stand alone and the monsters were already there when the kid moved in, I think. The monsters might have been shrunken down as part of a curse?
