That's a good list. There are two I don't own, I'll have to track them down.

Out of curiosity, how did you pick the order? As I note they are not in date published. Is it random, or are there themes?"
Speaking for the two moderators that actually did all the work, we alternated the crime books with those that are more spy / thriller types. The October and December reads are slightly Halloweenish and Christmasy.

She does such an excellent job of creating a dark and foreboding atmosphere.

Thank you moderators for a great mixture of books. I am happy to say my late mother comes up trumps again, and I have them all :-)
I will be there come January !!
Thank you to Susan, who did nearly all the work of drawing up the list. I have only read a few of these so far, and am looking forward to the challenge.

Read all Agatha Christie's many times over and still don't tire. I've also been rewatching all the tv shows and movies. She is my favorite author of all time.

Ha ha
I expect Agatha is too busy thinking about the next one she would have been writing, or singing along with Vera Lynn
Jill wrote: "I expect Agatha is too busy thinking about the next one she would have been writing, or singing along with Vera Lynn"I do like this string of comments, and this one really is wonderful. Thank you, all.
To sum up. Thanks to Agatha. And thanks to Susan and Judy for not only this list but all the work they put in for helping run this wonderful group.

Judy wrote: "Thank you for all the thanks! Great to hear that people are looking forward to this challenge."And thank you for the thanks for our thanks, no seriously :-)
Yeah definitely up for it !!
Just been looking over my bookshelves to see which ones I have. There are five I couldn't locate, but I would swear I have Secret of Chimneys and Crooked House at least, even if I probably don't have the other three. I'll hit up the secondhand bookshop next time I'm in town, they usually have a good range.
We're at the end of our challenge! Which were your favourites of the 12 Christie books we have read over the year?
I think my favourite of all was the very first, Why Didn't They Ask Evans? My next favourite was possibly the last book in the challenge, The Sittaford Mystery.

I liked all three of those as well, but had fun with the exotic locales and adventurous international espionage plots in They Came to Baghdad and Destination Unknown. Realistic, hardly, but fun and rather unusual to have female leads having adventures! Also, all five of these books (actually, most of the challenge list titles) were new reads for me, which was a treat!
I always enjoy Christie, so hard to say which I liked most. Some to me were very familiar so I must have read before. The one I liked least was Why Didn't They Ask Evans? and I'm sure I was disappointed with it the first time I read it. The most upsetting is Curtain but pleased the club got me to finally read it .
Secret Adversary has always been a favorite of mine. I loved the premise of Death Comes as the End, and I enjoyed revisiting They Came to Baghdad.

I enjoyed that one very much, as well - it was like a new read, as I didn’t remember a thing about it.
