I would post these separately, but they're all empty book records to be merged/deleted with the same edition.First, please merge/delete this empty edition (an ACE was created for this placeholder cover edition)

Then please merge/delete each of these with the same kindle edition. They are both unpublished short stories included in the anthology. (I changed the titles to match the title of the anthology. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to do that or not?)

Goodreads does not delete valid book records. In any case, the new edition would be combined with the other one, and they would share a series title.

In my country, publishing houses put such numbers on covers to show off how popular their books are. So one of them is the 39th print, the other is the 41st print. Other than that, they are the same book with the same ISBN and all. I thought we should only keep one entry for each print, preferably the first one if/when it's possible, right?

Only if there have been changes to the cover, etc. Otherwise there is no reason to have a separate edition for each printing.

Do such printing numbers on the cover count as a "change" though? I think they shouldn't because they are exactly the same edition. I mean, if everyone added a separate entry for the print they own, we would end up with dozens of entries for the same edition. What happens then? Should we keep them all?
I posted similar requests in the past and never had any issues, so forgive me for my confusion.

rivka, I forgot to add something. Sometimes it's not possible to find the cover of the first print, so people usually slap the first cover image they find online. If you look at the 39th print entry, the publishing date is the same as the entry without the stamp. How is that possible? Someone probably created that entry for the 1999 print, which is a duplicate, and just slapped the cover for the 39th print because that was probably what they could find online. I hope it makes sense.

not sure how this could have happened, but the most popular edition of this book: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... doesn't have an asin. I separated it for merging with another Kindle edition.

An important addendum: at the moment the default edition (which is the first edition for this work from 2008) has a WRONG cover (that's why it is a bit different from the duplicate, notice the writing below the title).
I could've changed it but I didn't want to confuse things for the superlibrarians.
The correct cover is on the duplicate. The cover currently on the default edition is actually the cover for this ISBN Il treno dell'ultima notte (that one is fine and doesn't need editing)
So, in short

To the GoodReads Support staff:Today I entered a title that I will be publishing in December 2020, Situation Normal by Leonard Richardson. As usual, I made entries for print and ebook, which have the following URLS:
