a few of them are in series where I will have to get caught up first, but all of them are in series I enjoy reading (and rereading).

Thanks for the website suggestion, Ann!
I am definitely looking forward to reading Murder on Amsterdam Avenue by Victoria Thompson.

I'm looking forward to The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly

The concept just looks really interesting to me.
Also looking forward to Crimson Bound

because the people who have read it before it's release date have given it shining reviews!

Would it be weird if I said I am looking forward to serendipitously finding new 2015 books to read at the library? I really don't have any series I am reading with new books coming out, but I am excited to see what new books show up on the carts and to perhaps find a new favorite!

I don't think that's weird at all. A lot of people choose their reads by simply browsing at the library or bookstore. And the new carts/shelves at the library will most definitely have some books that will end up on "Best of" Lists by the end of the year.

I'm sure there are other books that I'm looking forward to, but many of them are books that I haven't gotten around to reading yet, not even books that are coming out this year.
Armada sounds like something I'd enjoy based on how much I enjoyed Ready Player One! Thanks for that Liz, I put it on my to read list.

I read "As You Wish" a couple weeks ago and thought it was wonderful. You get a whole new appreciation for the movie when you know what went on behind the scenes. I hope you enjoy it!

This is the second year CPL is doing this challenge, and here's how it'll work:
- Every week a thread will be posted here. Sometimes we just talk about what we're reading. Other times, I'll provide a prompt for anyone who would like to participate.
- Books have to be logged on our website for them to count. Because the program we use is still in use from the 2014 challenge (need to draw winners), you will have to wait until January 18 to officially sign up for the 2015 challenge. But be sure to keep track of your books til then!
- Feel free to add topics to the discussion board. If you read a really great book you think everyone should experience, you can add it to the group's bookshelves.
- Questions? Leave them here, call 757.410.7138 or email esteyer@infopeake.org.
Without further ado, week one's question: What book are you most looking forward to in 2015?
I cannot wait for Ernest Cline's new book Armada, which is coming out in June. I am a huge fan of Ready Player One and nerdy science fiction, so I'm on the edge of my seat for this one.
