So I think I'm gonna throw all previous TBRs for this month out the window and just read some Star Wars. Because there are always heaps of weird names that fit practically every letter of the alphabet in Star Wars. For the last decade or so I've been doing this reading project where I read everything SW in publication order (and I mean everything - comics, short stories, kids books, EVERYTHING) but I think I'll put that to the side and just read the novels that I can count for this challenge. Hopefully that'll give me enough motivation to knock out a bunch of books.
Fingers crossed this works out well for all us lol

Day 1 BOM questions were a bit much though - 6 questions! And there were numerous questions within each question.

Rules state this: ◈ Books must be at least 160 pages in length. Children's books, Graphic Novels, Scripts/plays (movie and theater), Cookbooks and Poetry books cannot be used unless by word count they can be verified (by arbookfinder.com or arbookfinder.co.uk) as at least 40,000 words or have an audio edition that is at least 5 hours long

arbookfind is saying only 11,892 words

No problem. I have that site commonly pulled up to research books for my students. :)

With that said, I plan to finish at least 3 and begin Dear Martin.

I've added Spin to the spreadsheet, and my plans for the weekend are to make progress (if not finish!) some of the titles I currently have on the go:

I may work on moving a few more books around today just to free up some of the 'easier' spaces. Will try to make a point to note them here.
If you find have a choice of books, pick the one with a 'U' or 'I' availability...we are going to need 6xU and I
We have 2 books that show 'u' as an extra, but both of those books are used for a 'z'. Same situation for 'I'.
Bernadette...I'm likely going to move your Ape House to an 'I' somewhere.

Awesome...wish I had a pool...90s here all week!

So if you are looking for a U and come across a Z you'd prefer to read, we can change those around.

Yes, U is probably the most, then I. I’m assuming everyone is reading what’s posted on the SS though.
If everyone can keep checking in this week that would be great.

If you could put your Z at line 29 where someone removed a book.

If it’s open, take it Lauren
I cleared a couple of common letters...it might be one of those

Gotcha

We need them all...Bernadette-choice :)

I missed that Idea...I'm going to move BPoint down to the Z and move an 'I' up...thanks Stacey!
Now we just need to focus on only reading for what's open in that last set...if we finish it, we can open another.
Please comment here if you have back ups

Stacey...fyi...'series names' are not part of the spellout...unless I missed an update somewhere. This worked out well.

OK everyone...Donna is going to work on adding another word to our SS.
Please realize we won't get points for partial words...so if we can all work to check the SS when trying to decide what to read next, that would be great.
I know I have a back up book that doesn't work for anything currently available...so the extra will be helpful...but we'll need to complete the one above to make the extras count...this is very important. We can only have 1 incomplete phrase :)
Please do take some time now to reconcile the SS and remove books you will for sure not finish. We will start adding more books to the main...probably on Wednesday.
Thanks,

I missed that! That is great!

Will start to read Unthinkable by Nina Croft now, for U.
(both books are updated on the spreadsheet).
Hello Team Wizard!
Team Fridge have got snorkelling next round, and I was hoping that you guys would have some recommendations for books meeting the Asia tag! Ideally by indigenous authors - I'm looking to increase the diversity of my reading - but mainly just great books that you loved. Obviously it doesn't have to be books that you've read for the tag, and I'm not expecting you to check if the tag actually exists, but books that ought to meet the Asia tag would be perfect!
Thanks!
Cat
PS I'll stalk your thread for answers, or you could pop over to the Fridge: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
