I need the questions to catch up with me too!! It's harder to answer them when you've finished the book!!
Were you surprised by things? I won't say what...

No, worries on moving anything yet; we have lots of time still! We can get 1 or 2 spell outs finished before we start if you want.

Lol!! Awesome!

Yes, there were a few surprising parts. I was like oh! We can't talk about it just yet because we are ahead of the game. Okay, I figured out how to change the words to day 1 on my link but I can't figure out how to add day 2 and day 3 to the same line. I'm going to finish my day 3 questions right now. I also forgot about reading for the injustice battle rounds so I'm scrambling to find the shortest book possible that counts to get it read before the deadline tomorrow. Of course none of my current wheel books fits the four tasks that I was assigned.

You can always switch out your Wheel books for another one!
I think we only have to show that we participated in the questions, and not post every time we did. I will make sure, though.

I'll prob finish my book tomorrow night

The Wedding at the Beach Hut by Veronica Henry

I’ve also entered a title for a K in a space on the sheet for my next book.

Looks perfect, Kelly!

I love a good scavenger hunt, and I am quick to find titles. the Harry Potter TT made that skill a necessity between the first Quidditch match and the Maze.

Has anyone found any wonderful recommendations from the other teams that you are going to try yet?

BOOYAH!!! I put my name in the running, but I'm so glad you got it for our team! I've never written DQs so it was a bit of a gamble putting my name, so I am a bit relieved to just see how it all works. The only other buddy read I've done fizzled out when I was the only one that ended up continuing the book lol, so I'm excited for this one. I love the story and it's accuracy of CF.
I have a different chronic illness, but know many people with CF who have loved the representation. If anyone likes this story, I highly recommend the Middle Grade novel Caleb and Kit

I was nervous the first time I wrote DQs, but it is really easy. I end up writing way more questions than is necessary, and have to whittle them down.

Having just finished The Art of Fielding (a book I can heartily recommend!), I am left in the mood for more sports-themed books, so have come to see if any of you have any recommendations in the genre.
Just to be clear, I'm not looking for a trashy romance that happens to have a sports backdrop (you know the kind I mean...), but the kind that has a sport at its heart. (any sport, I'm open to learning about new ones! lol)
Thanks in advance!
Sammy - Team HP

Hi Navi,
Hopefully some of these are new to you!

Happy reading!

I always recommend Beartown and Us Against You if you haven't read them yet. They are so good!

If you haven't read it yet, I just finished Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption. It was so good and a great read during this time that we are having in the United States right now. A few of my local friends have been passing around White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism and I'm next on the list so I'm really looking forward to that one also.

Yay!!
I am with Abbey! I was a little worried to; I've never written them before either!

Anna and anyone else who was wondering - we only have to link post to show we participated in the BOM discussion. We have to participate in at least half the discussion for it to count for points (3 days).

I would be slightly intimidated writing questions myself. I think it would be hard to make sure to have good information in the questions and also get good discussion from them. I really love the book Five Feet Apart. I've worked with that population of kids for years in the hospital setting and it just touches a special piece of my heart. I work with another population now but both populations still intertwine at times. I'm sure that y'all will knock it out of the park on questions and I'm going to re-read the book since it's been a year and so I can add more points. :)

Here is the link for redundancy...

Haha I panicked for a minute then!

15 minutes, eight days, really what's the difference?

:)
sorry. I assumed it was longer finished my book last night

I was kidding! Take your time!!!!!!!
Sorry if I got people's hearts pumping in a bad way. I can be a bit of a snark.

Jenny, my dear - you scared me! Lol!
BUT - it made me laugh out loud!! So, it also made my day!

No worries! I understand the work thing! Just do what you can and let us know if you see any problems. We want you to have fun and not feel like it's a burden!

Damn. I wanted to watch the games.

I will use Fri/Sat/Sun as our check in days.
If you have already posted today, you are golden....but we'd love it if you dropped by all during the challenge / weeks and chat with us a bit. :-)

So hopefully will manage another two before the countdown finishes (small child and decorating dependant!)
