Yay! I love being on teams with friends. These teams look pretty good. You should totally join turf wars. Just like Angie said, just tell them 1-3 and then you can focus on all the things. Don't be an overachiever like I was with my 7-9 books....it's all the Olympics fault....at least that's what I'm going with. Oh yeah, I sped read that little Cancun book so I'll fix the spreadsheet tomorrow. I'm trying to work through Pachinko so I have to read a little more of that one before bed so I can hopefully knock it out tomorrow.
When I did turf wars I ended up reading almost two books a day in order to help my team. It got crazy. My competitive streak gets a little mad sometimes. I will think about it, unless the cut off is today or something!

Cool. I will look at the other ones you listed too. I don't like being between challenges either. I do wish that NBRC would let us know when their next big one is, because it is probably Tower Teams.

Competitive streak...hehehe....it just makes it more fun. Sandi did a great job evening out those Turf teams. I think you would be okay on any of the teams but orange is a good color. ;)

Hehe - tell your friend, that the default edition is the one that comes up when you search for a book (it is normally the first one in the list of editions, but not always.)

Updated the spreadsheet after finishing two books. Will go answer the questions about Pachinko too and link those when I'm done. I should finish two more books this week.
I added the links to the Round 5 tags on message 5 of this thread, if you all want to start planning for our EXERCISE.
Cover question! Is this a squirrel or a chipmunk? I need it to be a chipmunk but if y'all say it's a squirrel then I'll think about what to use it for. I haven't gotten it from the library yet just sitting over here planning books while on a teleconference call.
I think it's a squirrel based on the first chapter in the book- it references a family of squirrels. Sorry!!
Sorry for the radio silence on here, I just finished moving back down to Kentucky to start my grad school semester on the 17th. Feels good to be back in my apartment (which I've paid rent since March to not live in lol), but now I'm figuring out my new routines and where getting on my laptop fits into my life :)I should be on track for finishing my books on the spreadsheet. There is a chance I won't finish Order of the Phoenix, but I don't work until Monday now, so I may have shot at getting it done.
I had a feeling that it was a squirrel. I hadn't looked at it close enough but had that feeling. Off to find more books with the word "love" in them that fit in my leftover tasks.
one book down. I should have my second done tomorrow night hopefully.

I just checked the spreadsheet and there are a few things that need to be cleaned up. Jade, you have a couple of books that are not marked as read on your wheel shelf, Abbey, one of yours is the same. There are a few tasks that need to be chosen as well.So, before the deadline tomorrow, can you all check that you have chosen tasks if you can find them, and that your books are all marked as read please?

I have another 3 books to finish but will be done by tomorrow as I am part way through each of them. One of which is Pachinko, didn't think I would honestly enjoy it but I am pleasantly surprised.
All the books listed for me are completed - and I have a few more to add - but work is kicking my butt!! I'll get it all updated to night. :-)

I’ve had to take my last book of the sheet for round 4 as won’t be able to finish in time.
I think I have a couple books to add tonight.
I'm updating my books now and they should be set by tonight. I also noticed line/row 22 has a 380 page book at 89 points. After closer inspection, there is no formula on that line, just the text.
It only caught my eye because my 912 page book was 91 points, so the 380ish page book at 89 points just above it stood out. So figured I'd let y'all know.

I plan to have my last two in just under the wire. Depending on when I wake up in the morning. Reading about necromancers over coffee and cereal. Not an everyday thing for me.
Vickie, I am stalking the spreadsheet and updating as you are entering your books. I was about to sign off and noticed a couple lovely teamies punching in new things! Go with Summer scene on cover instead of Romance. Just a suggestion.

Thanks everyone for all the updates! I am working on getting everything turned in, but will watch for further updates. If you do make a change, could you please either color code it in yellow or post here....just so I don't miss anything?
