Vicki your book Attracting Aubrey is just under the 160 page mark so we won't get any points for it. Do you wanna switch it out for another book?

Deadline for Round 2 check-in / start of Round 3 is 10pm UK, 10 July So if everyone can check in an hour or so before 10pm at the latest, that is much appreciated by us, it will give us time to switch books around and do some final checks before the deadline.
Hello, dropping in from team Fridge for some recommendations for Fantasy (Epic/High/Dark) and Space Opera. If you have any please?Thank you!
Rajiv, for your book The Assassin's Daughter, I'm sorry to say you need to choose a different task, genre on Amazon isn't good enough, it needs to be main page genre (MPG) on Goodreads.
Rajiv - I'veput your book The Assassin's Daughter down as MPG Fantasy as Silje has previously said we can't accept genres from Amazon. It needs to say it on the main page of the book on Goodreads.
I read this month's BOM a few months back when it was released and can tell you it was FANTASIC!
I promise I’ll get to more reading but Hamilton just came out on Disney+ and my musical fix is needed haha!
When does our round 2 reading need to be posted?I'll be gone Monday through Friday of this next week. I'll be able to read some but probably not as much. I need to plan and know what I need to take with me.

Vicki, the round ends at July 10, 10pm UK time, the link is at the top of this page=) but Ashleigh and I will appreciate if people are done reading and have added their books by 8-9pm that day, so that we have enough time to move things around if needed. Just like the last round, post a message here when you know you are done reading in round 2.

Vicki, we're gonna take your book Attracting Aubrey out as it doesn't meet the minimum page count. Have you got another book for that space?
@Rajiv, just double-checking: You did listen to the audio of A Burning since you've used the narrator for a letter? I ask because you have reviewed and shelved the hardcover and doesn't mention audio in your review or tags/shelves.And how do you take your pictures for your reviews? Is there a lot of photoshop, or do you have that many accessories?=)
Kim, I see you've placed Queen's Assassin on the letter A with the reason "Assassin in title". As assassin isn't the first word in the title, this won't work. You can only use the first letter in the title unless it starts with A, An, The, then you can use the second (as per the rules).
I'm not sure if everyone is aware of this rule, so I will post it here:When it comes to non-fiction books it is the general rule that only title and the author can count for letters (narrator/translator when applicable), as it often is a countless number of people mentioned in these books, and they aren't technically characters. However, in some cases, such as biographies/memoirs, the name of key speaking people are allowed.

Ooh I wasn't aware of that! Orange Is the New Black is a memoir/biography so not sure if the characters count? I listened to the audiobook of it though and the narrator was Cassandra Campbell so it could be moved to C?
If the character you named was a key person it is accepted. I haven't read the book, so that is for you to decide if is true or not. But yes, we can also move it to C=)
Ashleigh wrote: "Vicki, we're gonna take your book Attracting Aubrey out as it doesn't meet the minimum page count. Have you got another book for that space?"Yeah, I totally messed that one up! Sorry. :(
I can find another book, but it looks like you already covered it. Since it's been removed, I'm not exactly sure where it was. I was also wondering if you removed the task from my list so that I don't have it covered anymore and don't remember which task it was.
Do you still need me to find another A book since we still have 5 more days till the end of round 2?
Vicki, you don't have to find book for A specific, it is one of the easier letter to find a replacement for=) I did not remove the task from the task tab, I forgot. But we'll find out which it was sooner or later=)
Silje wrote: "Rajiv, can you add a read-date on Forest of Souls on your shelf?=)"Done =) It was July 3rd
Silje wrote: "Vicki, you don't have to find book for A specific, it is one of the easier letter to find a replacement for=) I did not remove the task from the task tab, I forgot. But we'll find out which it was ..."Yes, I guess that's true. LOL Okay, thank you.

Not sure what I can change it as...
Hehe and for the pictures, its a bit of both, I have the accessories, but do a bit of lighting and touchups on photoshop as well =) Its time consuming, but fun :D
Rajiv, it's fine, just needed to know you had listened to the audio too=) if you place an audio version on your shelf, you use the page count from the default book, meaning the version that comes up first when you search for the book.Just let us know if you have listened to audio and use narrator for a letter, but shelved another version you used at the same time, then we don't get confused when checking the sheet;)
I just finished the audio version of Red Rising (great book btw!), and now I can't stop humming the song from the book=P
Omg I need to hear what the song sounds like! It doesn't really work as well just reading the words in the book.
yeah, the narrator sings it (and he has a good voice) and at the end of the audio there is a different version of it as well=)

Hi Ashleigh & Silje =)I wanted to know if I can add the following book to the wheel round as it is marked as middle grade? Its 224 pages but its a new book so doesn't have an audio version yet.
After the Worst Thing Happens by Audrey Vernick
Thanks!
Can I just ask everyone that if you listen to an audiobook AND read it in either kindle or print form, and you want to use it for narrator but you shelf the kindle/physical version, could you please leave a comment on this thread just letting us know so we don't have to keep asking? Thank you all!
Ashleigh wrote: "Not sure Rajiv. I can't find the word count on arbookfind.com so we can't verify the book."No problem Ashleigh =) I will not include it.

I can't find an audio version of it either, to verify the length.
Round 3 words and tags have been distributed! Our word is SEAKAYAKING and our tags are:Ocean
Mermaid/man
Whale
Turtle
Underwater
We will fix a copy to the planning sheet as soon as possible.
There's only a few days left of round 2! We have a lot of unfinished words but can only send in one at the end, the rest of the books will be lost. We are missing I-books, so if anyone can find those, it would be much appreciated. We also need one more book with a tag, anyone?
