Oh cool!
So, Carmen on your Rec's
Would you say the whole Crown of Shards series or just [book:Kill the Queen|36137560], and same question for the Enchanted, Inc. Series. I know I have book from both in my line-up for the near future.

Alison (Lady Coffin) S | 949 comments Sammy, having just looked over our list of rec's you jave so neatly organized, could you move Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus from the mystery/thriller/crime group it is a mystery, BUT it is much more significantly a Young Adult or even just Fiction.
Thanks in advance

Thanks Carmen
Trying to get to Crush the King, but liked the first two.
As for Enchanted, Inc. If is a fun and entertaining series. My next one in that is Enchanted Ever After the 9th and have found them all enjoyable.
Sure hope you like them as well.

I did enjoy the first books in each series and can't wait to read them but I've been waiting to us on multiple challenges but I may just go for it. LOL I need to see if which of the Enchanted, Inc I can borrow from my library as ebooks. I haven't been having luck with a lot of my searches. I'm hoping my library opens soon.

I'm going to say yes to all of my books since I'm going to work through my series. So yes, I will go with any series anyone is currently on they can work on that one. I wouldn't find it far if someone wants to more forward. Unless they wanted to reread it. Lol

I actually just recently read that book. It is a certainly worth a read. Also a good one for disability tags if that is on list, like I said I still haven't had time to look at the tasks list.

Don't forget, each team member has their own set of the 200 tasks to play with, so even if someone else reads something for task 45, you can too ;)

Good Morning!!!!

12:30 hours to go....

*Excited*

Of course, I just realized that I won't be around on those very exciting 10/15 minutes to go to squeal how it is about to start.

Due to summer time, my stepdad's dinner time is after 9 PM - Which meaaaaannnns, I'll be over with eating and cleaning up right around 10.

Oh well... At least I can jump straight into reading :D

message 277: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12864 comments Oh wow! I eat at 5pm! Considering I can't lie down until about 5 hours after I've eaten, or I get really bad reflux, 9pm would kill me, lol.

Don't worry though, there will be more than enough time for excitement when you get back :)

message 282: by Mandiann (new)

Mandiann (goodreadscommandiann) | 495 comments I am a tiny bit confused. do we get a word every week or every two weeks? The instructions say that the wheel will be spun every fortnight but then refer to the word as the word for the week. Based on the number of tasks some of our team members have claimed, I am leaning toward two weeks.

I will just claim one for now, works for T or R as if it is only one week, I may not get to more.

Just saying

I still have one more hour to work...plus a 2 hours training session after work.

Who schedules zoom training sessions for a friday?!

I have a call that is scheduled for Friday's from 3-4pm...Who does that! It means I have to start my normal day later as well, as I generally am off at 3. I still get to the office at about 6am, but have to wait until almost 7:30 to clock in.

This call was weekly for many months, now at least it is bi-weekly, but still crazy time for a meeting.

It's one word/round every two weeks. So 5 rounds in total by the end of the challenge :)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Ouch... at least mine is once in a time happening... Sure, I'll have to watch someone explaining basic SAP concepts on a screen for 2 hours, after my current 8 hours of work.

But we're on remote work, so I get to do it at home, and as I said, it is a one time thing.

Dinner killed a little time, now I'm gonna go kill some zombies. It's either that or get hubby to duct tape me to my chair so I can't get at the books, lol.

Since most of mine are series books, I figured whatever book in the series they want to read is fine by me unless that's not how the group wants to do it.
