Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments The only downside of that series, is that none of the side characters is named Ian. LOL

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12885 comments Ok, I just claimed 3 Qs, 3 Is, one Z and a B. Two creepy tags (they will probably be pretty easy to fill), and a partridge in a pear tree.

Phew!

message 1255: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments The I hunt killers series is tagged as creepy. And if I am not mistaken, is on the recs tab.

I Hunt Killers (I Hunt Killers, #1) by Barry Lyga Game (I Hunt Killers, #2) by Barry Lyga Blood of My Blood (I Hunt Killers, #3) by Barry Lyga

message 1256: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12885 comments also, the thriller Into the Darkest Corner is tagged "creepy", is an I title, and comes highly recommended by me (and it was recommended to me by Jenny, and I'm sure she'll recommend it to others if you're looking for a task to fill, lol)

I've already read it this challenge, or I'd read it again, lol.

message 1257: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Thanks Sammy!

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12885 comments De nada.

Well, at least that pulled me out of the Youtube black hole, lol.

Back to reading. I am enjoying my King so far The Institute, also I title and tagged creepy if anyone is interested, lol.

message 1259: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments I think my favorite tag so far is Wings. Too bad the letters are not as fitting, because those books look darn good.

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12885 comments I've been going through the "creepy" list some more, and pretty much everything is on there. Including most of the books I already picked, plus all the Harry Potters ;)

I still have Blaze, and at least one other Q, I can think of off the top of my head.
So, no worries!

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12885 comments Good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the Heartland. Specifically, we just arrived in Oklahoma!
Now if you don't hear from me for a while, you can safely assume I stayed behind here, because this is sooooo my stop! ;)

Now if you'll all excuse me, I have a train to jump from, lol.

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Dang.. So Leverage is on Amazon prime... Which is all fine and dandy, but I can't change the language definitions and I refuse to listen to it in Spanish. *refuse*

Alison (Lady Coffin) S | 949 comments No lets just grab him to come along. I am sure that the trains current staff wouldn't mind.
I know I wouldn't.

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12885 comments Good plan Alison! :)

Sonia, this is why I got myself the DVD box set for Christmas. I can watch it whenever I want, and listen to it as it's meant to be. (I swear that man's voice is *censored because it's far too early in the morning to say what I'm thinking on a kid-friendly forum*...) ;)

message 1274: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments *hunts favorite store for Leverage DVD's*

message 1275: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments And just so you know... two of our founders were underage... hence us never taking the plunge to change definitions... this former mod was quite tempted in the day. Specially during some team challenges.

message 1276: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Darn, I can't find it *pouts*

Oh well...

I do have some mixed feelings about the reboot though...

message 1277: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Okay... tried a comparison between amazon es prime video and youtube for the voices.... aaaannnd.... there is no freaking way I'm going to watch the spanish version.

Nope. Not doing it.

Youtube has the episodes.... I can deal with the ads.

message 1278: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12885 comments better Eliot with ads than no Eliot at all ;)

message 1279: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Exactly.

I must confess when I first shared my thoughts on Leverage, I had no idea you'll be that addicted to Eliot it.

Oh well....I guess that's what I do...

message 1280: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12885 comments Well it started with The Librarians, but then when you mentioned Leverage I had no choice but to dive down that particular rabbit hole :D

Thank you for that.

Besides, I relinquished my dibs on Hemsworth to you, so I needed a replacement...

Also, that clip never gets old.

That's another series I can't get my hands on... *pouts*

Oh well... I'll add both to the list of stuff I want to check out after Wheels.

There's a bunch of things already there, such as some PS4 games, and series to catch up on... plus preparing to get back home... cause let me tell you... the mess I can do and the stuff I can accumulate in 4 months is....overwhelming.

LOL

message 1282: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12885 comments I may or may not have gotten that box set for Christmas too, lol.

message 1283: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12885 comments And I feel your pain. We've got to not only re-decorate our entire house, but then pack up the better part of 20 years worth of accumulated stuff and find somewhere to store it so we can put the house up for sale and buy a new (bigger!) one.

Oh, and we ideally need to do so before March, so we don't have to pay stamp duty and save ourselves thousands.

Yeah...

message 1284: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12885 comments today's daily deal on Audible (UK) is another Q title, which also happens to be on the 1001 list (and therefore on my TBR).
Score! :)

Nice!!!

message 1286: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Yeah... going back to my place also implies a lot of redecorating in our future.

Specially because we have to go through all my mom's stuff. The little minion also wants to have her own room, that means 1)no craft room after all, but 2)lots of fun setting her room up. 8 year olds like pretty colors and glitter... at least, this one does.

So no craft room, but a room for a kid that can have craft space... and her mommy and auntie to do them with her... :)

message 1289: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12885 comments I refuse to not have a craft room in my new house. I will lose my mind (even more than I already have, lol).

Which reminds me... I have 4 cards to make for a commission this week. At least I can listen to an audio book while I work :)

And Steven is right. Crafting with the little ones can be so much fun! :)

Noooooo step away from the black hole.... if I can resist, you can too!

message 1292: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Speaking of black hole.

I need a volunteer... just in case I let myself fall into Ty&Zane vortex again.

I managed to get out of it after crash & burn, but the fear is real.

message 1293: by Suzy (new)

Suzy Kennedy Hi

Sorry for being MIA the last week, got sucked into a netflix hole.

Logged my book and signed up for 2 O's in the last 2 spell outs. we just need 2 Y's and a couple easy letters :)

message 1294: by Sammy (last edited Aug 04, 2020 08:24AM) (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12885 comments Thanks Suzy!

Yes, we need at least one Y if we don't want all the books in the next spell-out to go to waste. anyone have one? I'm afraid I have the one I've just started for the previous spell-out, but after that I don't have anything I can finish in that time, and spare Ys aren't something we have in abundance!

And yes Sonia, we'll do what we can to keep you from the black hole, even if it means tying you to Hemsworth your seat. ;)

message 1295: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments LOL

Uhmmm that means I should read other thing instead of Robbie, Priest and Jules HEA?!

*harroumphs*

I guess I could read some Sarina Bowen... I prefer her MM books but her FM romances are not that bad...

☼♎ Carmen the Bootyshaker Temptress ☼♎ | 7238 comments I've never watched either shows but I do love the men. Hmm, I may have to binge watch since it seems like I should. LOL

Ok I was notified by Plethora about our weird word and tags but not so weird I guess. LOL I do have a few that works, I just need to see what other million challenges I have that some could work. Yes, I'm a challenge nut but *whispers, its all Plethora's fault* hahahaha

Is this how people under 5'5" look, well then I'm 5'3" so whatever. It scares many so don't make me agree. Short people have certain advantage in spots tall people don'texpect. LMAO

message 1300: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments I'm 5'1'' ish... 156 cm if that helps. And somehow people thinks I'm scary?

One of my cousins introduced me to her boyfriend using the words "this is my eldest cousin".... I swear it took the kid at least a year to feel comfortable around me.

I am a nice person! Seriously. I am.
