Wow that is a really productive day. I'm finishing up with one now. I didn't get much reading in earlier but that's ok since I read most of the book late last night. I had everyone in bed and stayed up and finished my long book and then started the next :)

I know there have been some comments about the high temperatures on board, and I beg you to bear with us while we continue to investigate this. I have to warn you though, that temperatures are likely to rise further now that we have officially crossed into the south.

First stop is Virginia, a state that has both a beautiful coastline, and rugged mountains.





Although if beaches are your thing, you could of course do worse than a trip to Florida...

Okay.... so... I didn't read much during the weekend... sunday was spent making some homemade tomato sauce and cleaning and dicing vegetables to freeze.

Anywoo.... since Monday I basically have been getting solace in books aka reading like a banshee and managed to start and finish 5 books. Sure, they're small like 200-300 pages. But that's a lot of books.

I haven't thought on tasks, because I'm in one of those moods... so, eventually I'll do it.

Can anyone, please remind me in a couple of days, in case I forget? Thanks.

Wow! That's some serious reading Sonia! Makes up for me failing miserably to read much today. Having trouble getting into The Bear and the Nightingale. I'm sure it will pick up, but finding it a bit of a slog in the meantime.

I wish this weeks word had a few more letters. Seems like so little options for some of my books, I've passed on reading a few because I couldn't tell easily that they would have a character that would work if series, author, title wasn't a go.

"zoom calls" would be a hard one in tems of how few letters there are, but at least there's a A and S, which show up in practically everything, lol.

Yeah, and I seem to find many M and L ones also. It would likely be the O causing me issues with that one.

Omigosh the first book in Kings: Wild Cards was so good. Really what I needed.

So, of course, even if I started the new VRC, I had to put it on hold (why let a good V go to waste, right?) I was hit with a desire to re-read the whole Kings Security series again. I started book #2, because I was missing Red & Laz big time... but I'm starting to have second thoughts about it.

So yeah... I think I'll be reading those for a bit... it helps they have E, and L and even G.

We can always count on you to find the awkward letters. It would probably be a really good marketing strategy for KU authors to advertise their books by saying how many awkward letter characters they have used, lol.
