*grumbles about Gremlins*Hey guys. I'm still not getting much print read, but have been flying through The Godfather, and will probably finish it today.
We've got someone coming round tomorrow to talk about putting a teensy concrete shed in our postage stamp sized garden. We need somewhere to store stuff while we get the house decorated so we can put it up for sale. Then hopefully we'll be able to move somewhere a little bigger before Christmas. Fingers crossed!
Alternatively, I call dibs on tonight's Euromillions jackpot and move into somewhere a LOT bigger, lol.

I was so busy this week, that all my reading motivation was down the drain.(and next one will be even worse)
Anyway, I think I am finally getting over the similarities with Dresden that were giving me pause, and will probably finish Alex Verus today.
And then, let's hope I can find something that make me speed read again.
Good catch that we were being robbed points.

Luckily I'm reading ahead of schedule, so can hopefully read an extra book or two this round , but sucks that your mojo is MIA :(

Good evening ladies and gents. just a public service announcement to say that we sped up for a little while there while we take another little detour. Today we find ourselves in India (don't forget to wave to your family as we go by Apoorv! ;), the second most populous country in the world. It's also a very large country, Spanning more than one climate, from beautiful temperate zones to hot deserts and more.
Living in the UK, I am familiar enough with the Indian cuisine (which has long since been adopted as England's national cuisine too, lol) to recommend visiting the buffet cart for our Friday night curry special. as always, our staff is ready and eager to please...

So, I managed to finish Alex Verus yesterday before dinner... and I think I got my reading back, since I started Warrior's Cross at night... and just marked it as read as well.Now... Should I pick The Gravedigger's Brawl, Fish and Chips, or something new?

Did you manage to choose yet? I've opted for a Margaret Atwood myself, which is pretty good so far, though the female narrator's inflections irritate the cr*p out of me.
Had a stupidly busy day today, but at least I could have my headphones on for a good chunk of it :)

Google tells me it's Hrithik Roshan, and unless you watch Bollywood movies, it's probably unlikely you've seen him in anything.
I did do a module on Bollywood at uni, but the stuff we watched was probably from long before his time, lol.

As Sammy said, his name is Hrithik Roshan, and he is an absolute dreamboat. He has so far worked extensively in Bollywood films and is touted as of the biggest stars in India.
Apart from his yummy looks, he is actually a very accomplished actor with a variegated filmography and a phenomenal dancer. (Some people just like to over-achieve, ugh! :P)

Yep. Ended up perusing KU and selected a couple of new titles. The first I tried turned out to be exactly what I was in the mood for. I'm currently reading #2 in the series. And the fact that it fits V, O and a couple more letters doesn't hurt either. Of course there is no #3, which is a shame, but we'll see what happens in a few hours.

Well, it was a degree in film & tv studies, so it would have been odd not to watch stuff, lol!
(In fact the reason I am firmly convinced Blade Runner is one of the best films of all time is that I once watched it about a dozen times over the course of a weekend while working on an assignment, and I still loved it by the time I was done. Not many movies I could say that about! lol.)

Continuing on my KU exploring, I think I hit jackpot.Not only did I find a new favorite author, I also stumbled into a spelling treasure, a U series, with V, R and I characters, plus a D author.
