Can you verify which edition you are reading? The one you linked has no page count, the ebook (not Kindle) shows 598, the paperback shows 448 pages, and Amazon doesn't show Kindle page count, but does show 432 pages for the print book.

That is a good question. I got it as an eBook through Netgalley for review. I usually download it as epub for adobe digital editions which shows on my end 345 pages which usually never is the same on Goodreads.

Alysa H. | 3840 comments If it helps any, the only NetGalley listing for that book is for paperback ISBN 9781728210230, which is same as the one listed on Amazon as 432 pages.
I am GR Librarian but trying to refrain from editing stuff for myself/my team during challenges, in case of conflict of interest.
You may want to take it to the Librarians Group.

I noticed that Emeli’s “stepdad” book also does not have a page count on GR.
ETA: well, it didn’t until a couple of hours ago, apparently!

Oh good! I was wondering if they would keep that feature, from TT :D

Michelle (govmarley) | 3150 comments Post completions here! We usually (I think) have a separate completion thread but it doesn't look like it this time. I'm also totally fine with you posting your completions directly on our planning sheet if you would prefer that. We will try to comb through the thread not to miss anything.

I didn't get a chance to post it last night, but a library must have gotten to it because there are multiple editions with the 432 number now, including a Kindle edition. So I put that on the spreadsheet.

LOL There may not be much reading tonight! It might be sleeping.😀

I have read the first 2 books in the murderbot series. I need to continue...

message 172: by Geri (last edited Jun 14, 2020 02:47PM) (new)

Geri I found an O name in a book I started. So I shuffled it to fit an O in the spreadsheet. I am thinking O might be our difficult letter this round. Even more than Z. I know most of us prepare for letters like Q, X, Z. We will probably have enough. 🤞

My mom recently recommended Murderbots to me. I bought the first one but haven’t had a chance to read it yet.

message 175: by Alysa (new)

Alysa H. | 3840 comments Murderbot is so great.
I am mad at any book that is not a Murderbot book.
(Well, not really. But still. 🙂)

message 176: by Laura (new)

Laura | 5524 comments If any one is interested in reading it, apparently one of the other team captains found Morris Dancers in Agatha Raisin and the Love from Hell.

How is the reading going? I have one I should be finishing tonight.

Alison, I recommend the whole series. Or anything else by her! There are several crossover series in the same world!

We've taken a short stop from riding our motorbikes to send you some recommendations from our team. Take a look to see what books we recommend to you guys!

If you do happen to read one of the books, we'd love you to drop by and share your thoughts with the team.

Recommendations from Motorcycle Diaries!

Happy travelling!

Geri, have you read A Dead and Stormy Night? It’s an RH cozy! I recommend it. :)

I just had to look up what you meant by "RH cozy" -- I was like... there is a Rocky Horror cozy? lol

message 192: by Laura (new)

Laura | 5524 comments Lol! RH stands for Reverse Harem. But I’m in a few RH Facebook groups, and I bet authors in there would jump at the idea of a Rocky Horror RH novel. :)

I just took a look. It looks like only the Hardcover edition has enough pages to qualify for Wheel. It has 176 pages, but everything else is under 160. :(

Sallie(GeorgiaGirl) (shuga) | 775 comments finished my first read for the week. off to update the spreadsheet and to start another book

message 195: by Laura (new)

Laura | 5524 comments I put in a third Guild Hunter book for myself, but if we get too many books that work for the tag, someone poke me and let me know so I can take it out and save it for another round. We currently have 8 out of 10 possible on the planning spreadsheet, with 2 of them completed.

message 196: by Alysa (new)

Alysa H. | 3840 comments I have two Tagged books that I am currently reading. One (CREEPY) will be done tomorrow, and the other one (TWILIGHT) the next day, or Thursday at the latest. If we end up having more than 10, I don’t think it’s a big problem, we just won’t get extra points. So it’s probably better to plan a little over 10, to err on the side of caution just in case somebody doesn’t finish something :)

message 197: by Robyn (new)

Robyn (robyn_r) | 88 comments I should be done with my first book by tomorrow morning

message 198: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (govmarley) | 3150 comments I was thinking the same thing, Alysa. We can go a little over just in case life gets in the way and someone can't finish a book by the end of the round.

message 199: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (govmarley) | 3150 comments I have 3 O books that I think I can get through this week. Added to the sheet.

message 200: by Britta (new)

Britta (macdeath) | 148 comments I'm probably going to fly through the rest of Eclipse today. My next book I chose by picking a random task and finding a fitting book for it! Might do that again later as it's a fun challenge.
